As part of your membership of the Daikin Network Alliance Dealer Program, we will be working with your Distributor to provide DNA Dollars based on your company s purchases of Daikin equipment, for exciting opportunities to educate your staff, as well as advertise and promote your company s dealership with Daikin. Application The candidate will complete the DNA Application Form and submit copies of all local, state and federal licenses and certificates for each employee. The candidate will also need to complete the required training. Please see the training section. Only contractors who sell Daikin systems will be eligible to apply for membership into the DNA program Evaluation The candidate will be evaluated on their technical astuteness and capability of installing and servicing Daikin equipment. The candidate will not be approved to be in the program until training has been verified as complete. Formal Recognition DNA Dealers will receive official notification and recognition as a DNA member. Commitment DNA Dealers will be committed to attending product, technical and service training. Sales Referrals DNA Dealers will receive sales referrals based on zip code. DNA Dealers are included on Daikin AC s Where to purchase web locator. 3
How to Accrue and Use DNA Dollars DNA Dealers will receive accruals of 1% in the form of DNA Dollars for all reported purchased equipment and accessories based on Daikin AC list prices. (1% accrual = 1 DNA Dollar) Qualifications: Completed DNA local promotion request form and obtain authorization from the Daikin AC DNA Department. Must supply invoice from vendor Copy of evidence (i.e. tear sheet from advertisement, original event program, direct mail piece, etc.). Term The DNA Program will operate quarterly starting January 1 st and based in the calendar year. Any DNA Dollars accrued during the calendar year will expire in March 31 st of the following year. 4
Training The candidate will not be approved to be in the program until training has been verified as complete. To be identified as an Altherma Dealer: 1 Day Altherma Sales and Application 1 Day Altherma Installation and Commissioning To be identified as a Residential Dealer: 2 Day RA / SkyAir Install, Commissioning & Service To be identified as a Commercial Dealer: 2 Day VRV Install & Commissioning To be identified as both a Residential and Commercial Dealer: 2 Day RA / SkyAir Install, Commissioning & Service 2 Day VRV Install & Commissioning Once accepted into the Dealer program the Dealer may use DNA dollars earned for additional training. 5
DNA Dealer Program Definitions and Benefits The Daikin Network Alliance (DNA) is a coalition of highly skilled HVAC contractors who enhance their business by promoting, purchasing and installing Daikin AC air-conditioning equipment. The Program provides various benefits once approved into the program, DNA Dealers receive: D-Link, a marketing tool which allows dealers to customize and conduct print advertising campaigns, order merchandise and stay connected with Daikin with just a click DNA branding materials such as hats, window signage and truck signage A DNA dollar bonus of $100 to be used toward marketing your efforts Website tips to help set-up your website to include all Daikin information A print ready press release to announce your affiliation with Daikin $200 reimbursement when you place an order for your first ad using D-Link, a tool designed to help you promote your business Priority listing on the where to purchase section of Daikin AC s website 100% of DNA loyalty dollars earned can be used towards advertising and merchandising In house market support 6
