1 Dear Human Resources Director/Manager: General Motors of Canada is pleased to continue the GMCL Commercial Employee New Vehicle Purchase Program. As you know, this program has been developed to give your eligible employees (see Frequently Asked Questions section for eligibility) at all of your Canadian locations the opportunity to purchase two new-and-unused GM cars or trucks per model year at a great discount. The GMCL Commercial Customer Employee is only offered to eligible Canadian Commercial customers who have an active current Fleet Purchase Plan with GM Canada Fleet and Commercial (included under the Company s Head Office Fleet Account Number (FAN) and any affiliated partner/member under a sub-fan). It is our way of saying thank you for selecting General Motors of Canada as a volume supplier for your Fleet vehicles. This program is offered concurrent with your signed Fleet Purchase Plan. GMCL Commercial Customer employees need simply to provide their selling GM dealer with proof they are a current employee of an eligible GM Commercial Customer Company and any affiliated partner/member under that Fleet Account Number (FAN). Proof of employment would include, as an example, a Company ID Card that clearly indicates the individual is a current employee of the approved Commercial Company, recent pay stubs or a record of employment from the company HRM Department. Please advise your affiliated partners/members (under a subsidiary FAN) that confirmation of a parental relationship with your company might be required by a GM dealer when an affiliated partners/members employee is using the program. Once employees qualify for the program, they can then take advantage of prices that are equal to or less than 4% over dealer cost. The perfect combination of savings Employees can still maximize their potential for savings by combining the GM Canada Employee Purchase Program discount with certain advertised national and regional incentives. With new vehicle introductions every year it is always a great time to take advantage of this special discount. Working together to ensure quality and success As always, GM s success is highly dependent on customer loyalty and we d like to take this opportunity to express our thanks. If you have any questions, please contact the GM Call Centre at GM-DRIVE. Sincerely, G.D. (Jerry) Daniel Director Fleet & Commercial Sales General Motors of Canada Limited Marc J. Comeau Vice President Sales, Service & Marketing General Motors of Canada Limited
