Th e recent rapid evolution of endoscopic sinonasal surgery, and surgery of the surrounding areas has been incredibile. However, it has also disclosed numerous problems and complications that need to be understood and adequately faced. The emergence of new technologies has helped us to overcome tricky situations in our everyday work. We have planned a one-day event to discuss the opportunities offered by these recent discoveries, which have increased our knowledge, improved our research methodology and given us new imaging tools and new surgical devices. I am proud to invite you to the San Raffaele Scientific Institute for a one-day meeting together with some of the best sinonasal surgeons in the world. The above-mentioned topics will be presented in a series of lectures, round tables and open discussions. I look forward to seeing you in Milano on September 4 th, 2012. Arrivederci!
