TECH TOUR ANNOUNCES EUROPE S TOP 36 INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURS TO PARTICIPATE in the DIGITAL TECH SUMMIT 2015 in LISBON Winning entrepreneurs from over 20 different countries across Europe Over 150 delegates attending, including 70+investors and global industry players Selection Committee includes Caixa Capital, Accel Partners, and Index Ventures Geneva and Brussels, October 20 th, 2015 Tech Tour announced today the top thirty-six European entrepreneurs to participate in the upcoming Digital Tech Summit (DTS) 2015, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal on October 20-21 at the University of Economics and Management (ISEG). Applicants were assessed by Tech Tour s Selection Committee on criteria such as the uniqueness of their technology, the strength of their business model and the capability to execute on the business plan. For its 8th edition to date, DTS received more than 140 applications from 20 countries across Europe, making it the most competitive edition to date. At the event, selected entrepreneurs seeking funding will present their businesses to an audience of over eighty Venture Capital firms, Business Angels, Corporate and Institutional Investors and influencers who are looking for companies to invest in the sector. Building on a strong history of successful events, this year s edition takes place alongside the European Commission s flagship event ICT2015, making this one of the biggest weeks in Digital Tech Entrepreneurship and Investment in 2015. A delegation of 150+ leading global industry players, industry advisors and representatives from cross-venture capital and global investment firms are attending the event. Total estimated assets under management of attending investors are estimated at 20 billion+.
