The 3rd International Scientific Conference and Practical Exercise EpiMilitaris 2014 Field Medicine. Ladies and Gentlemen, October 13-16, 2014, RYN CASTLE Hotel in Ryn As a follow-up of the EpiMilitaris Scientific Conference Cycle, with your participation, we are organizing the third meeting, which this time will address battlefield medicine. This year, the Military Medical Training Center in Łódź, has joined the group of the last year conference organizers. The conference formula has been extended with a practical exercise module, under which the following aspects will be presented: a software package used to manage incidents using bioagents, procedures of evacuation from the battlefield using Rosomak - Wheeled Armored Vehicle, and a helicopter, as well as organization and activities performed in a field hospital. Invitations to participate in this conference were sent to representatives of various Polish and foreign institutions, which are practically or theoretically involved in the broadly defined battlefield medicine aspects. Scientific reports that you would like to present will be published in a monograph in Polish and in English. The organizers will request the Military Medical Chamber and the National Chamber of Laboratory Diagnosticians to award conference participants with credit points. Thus I would like to invite you to RYN CASTLE Hotel in Ryn, where between 13 and 16 October 2014, you will be able to listen to lectures and share experience in the field of battlefield medicine with Polish and foreign leading experts.
