3 Scientific Program The Conference program includes keynote, invited and plenary lectures as well as short oral and poster contributions related to applications of spectroscopic and quantum mechanical methods to the studies of: Structural and physical properties of molecules. Molecular recognition Non-covalent interactions. Molecular materials and materials engineering. Molecular biological systems. Nanomaterials Modelling - simulation We are pleased to announce that the Conference Opening Lecture will be given by Sir Harold W. Kroto. The Keynote Lectures will be delivered by (in alphabetical order): S. Bratos, H.G.M. Edwards, R. Fausto, H.M. Heise, S. Jurga, A. Müller, H. Ratajczak, D. Xue, while the Invited Lectures will be delivered by (in alphabetical order): H. Abramczyk, M. Handke, Z. Latajka, J. Leszczyński, A. Loewenschuss, I. Ledoux-Rak, S. Parola, A.M. Yaremko. ICMS 2013 Proceedings: Participants are cordially invited to submit a full-length manuscript for publication in a virtual special issue devoted specifically to XII th International Conference on Molecular Spectroscopy, which will be followed by publication of accepted manuscript in a regular issue of one of three journals (chosen by participant): Journal of Molecular Structure, Spectrochimica Acta or Vibrational Spectroscopy. This is quite new approach proposed by Elsevier, which - with the options for additional material, i.e. (colour) photo s, animations, etc, which would not be included in a printed issue will certainly make ICMS2013 special issue more complete and accessible than it has ever been. This approach has the following advantages: Papers are published individually in regular issues as soon as they are accepted (this will rule out possible delays, typical in publication of printed special issue, where all manuscript have to be processed before publication). Each paper will be labeled with a footnote indicating at which conference it was presented, and linking to ICMS 2013 Virtual Special Issue. Virtual Special Issue will be prepared and placed on Elsevier special issue site with links to papers in Science Direct. Besides supplementary data submitted with accepted papers, the additional materials, e.g. preface, possible commemorative photos from conference with the added possibility of presenting photos and videos from poster sessions, will also be available online via ICMS 2013 Virtual Special Issue. We sincerely hope that you will decide to contribute to this new and exciting multi-journal project, and would like to wish you success with the submission of manuscript and publication of your paper. Detailed submission instructions will be sent to individual participants shortly before the meeting takes place.

4 LOCATION The conference will take place in Białka Tatrzańska, in the picturesque Tatra Mountains. Białka Tatrzańska is located 20 km from Zakopane (near the international road E7), about 100 km from Kraków, Poland. The site of the conference is Hotel Bania**** Thermal&Ski ( Białka Tatrzańska, ul. Środkowa 181, where all participants will be accommodated.
