Office365 Packaged Consultancy Parative have created a set of Office365 delivery packages that will suit pretty much any size of business. Office365 is a flexible cloud based product suite that will fit into any organisation. That said, the more complex the business requirement in terms of coexistence and migration the more consultancy is required from us to integrate the offering. Because of this complexity, and the fact that one size doesn t fit all we have created a tiered consultancy offering, so that you as the client can see exactly what we need to do to get you deployed and the price it will cost you. If you cannot find a tier that exactly matches your requirement don t worry, drop us a call and we will customise a package for you. Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 Tier 4 Tier 5 Number of users 1-150 ** 1-150 ** 1-500 50-10,000 50-10,000 Google,Hotmail or other IMAP systems Exchange 2003/2007 or 2010 on premise All Users migrated to cloud Migration over a longer period Fast migration/cutover Active Directory Users Synchronised to the cloud service (Directory Sync). Active Directory Federation (ADFS) - Single Sign-on included. Exchange Federation provided for rich coexistence - Free/Busy and Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud. Outlook Profile and old settings maintained. Cross premise mail-tips available. Enterprise Archiving available in cloud. Mix of on-premise and cloud service users indefinitely Exchange 2010 Client Access Server (CAS - SP1) required for migration. Time to complete < 1 Week 1-2 Weeks 3-5 Weeks 4+ Weeks 4+ Weeks ** It is possible to complete larger numbers of Tier 1 users but there is more effort required here and so we would quote on an ad-hoc basis for these migrations.

Tier 1 - Cutover Simple migration (Tier 1 - Cutover): (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, other IMAP systems) < 1-150 Users All users will migrate to Office365 Time to complete is 1 week or less No Coexistence Fast migration/cutover No single sign-on available No Free/Busy or Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud New Outlook profile (OST and rules not maintained) A customer who falls into the simple category would be a client with less than 150 users who will move everyone to the cloud in one movement. There will be no coexistence with onpremise systems and users will have a login and password for Office365 provided by Microsoft and changed every 90 days. This is essentially an overnight or weekend migration. Perform up front synchronisation of mailbox data Redirect all email to 365 system and cut over users as quickly as possible Architectural design and implementation of Office365-2 days @ 850 Office365 overview training (one 3 hour session) included free of charge Total: 1700 Migration software licence per user: Google 3.73 / Notes 7.45 / GroupWise 11.18 Mailbox Migration - @ 750 per 150 mailboxes (per day), less than 1GB avg per mailbox

Tier 2 - Cutover Simple migration (Tier 2 - Cutover): (Exchange 2003, 2007 or 2010) 1-150 Users All users will migrate to Office365 Time to complete is 1-2 weeks No Coexistence Fast migration/cutover RPC/HTTP required No single sign-on available No Free/Busy or Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud New Outlook profile (OST and rules not maintained) A customer who falls into this category would be a client with less than 150 users who will move everyone to the cloud in one movement from an existing on-premise Exchange system. There will be no coexistence with on-premise systems and users will have a login and password for Office365 provided by Microsoft and changed every 90 days. Deploy RPC/HTTP if not already deployed Perform up-front synchronisation of mailbox data Redirect all email to 365 system and cut over users as quickly as possible Finalise the migration and perform one last synchronisation of the mailbox data Implement RPC/HTTP if not already deployed - 1 day @ 850 Architectural design and implementation of Office365-3 days @ 750 Total: 3100 Mailbox Migration - @ 750 per 150 mailboxes (per day), less than 1GB avg per mailbox

Tier 3 - Cutover with Active Directory Federation SME/Business migration (Tier 3 - Cutover with Active Directory Federation): (Exchange 2003, 2007 or 2010) 1-500 Users All users will migrate to Office365 Time to complete is 3-5 weeks Limited Coexistence (Single sign on for passwords) Fast migration/cutover RPC/HTTP required Includes Active Directory federation for single sign-on. No Free/Busy or Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud. New Outlook profile (OST and rules not maintained) A customer who falls into this category would be a client with less than 500 users who will move everyone to the cloud in one movement from an existing on-premise Exchange system. Limited coexistence will be provided by utilizing single sign-on capability through Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Deploy RPC/HTTP if not already deployed Provision of Active Directory Synchronisation (Dirsync) Perform up-front synchronisation of mailbox data Redirect all email to 365 system and cut over users as quickly as possible Finalise the migration and perform one last synchronisation of the mailbox data Provision of Active Directory Synchronisation (Dirsync) - 2 days @ 850 Implement RPC/HTTP if not already deployed - 1 day @ 850 Architectural design and implementation of Office365-3 days @ 750 Total: 4800 Mailbox Migration - @ 750 per 250 mailboxes (per day), less than 1GB avg per mailbox

Tier 4 - Staged migration SME/Business migration (Tier 4 - Staged migration): (Exchange 2003, 2007)** 50-10,000 Users All users will migrate to Office365 over time Migration only (no pre-staged data synchronisation) Time to complete is 4+ weeks Simple coexistence provided with Active Directory Synchronisation (DirSync) Includes Active Directory federation for single sign-on (optional) Staged, longer term migration RPC/HTTP required No Free/Busy or Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud New Outlook profile (OST and rules not maintained) A customer who falls into this category would be a client with a larger organisation (50-10,000) users who will move everyone to the cloud over a longer period of time from an existing on-premise Exchange system. For this to take place email will continue to flow into the on-premise organisation and be redirected to cloud mailboxes for those users that have been migrated. Mailboxes will be synchronised and switched into the cloud over time. Simple coexistence with on-premise systems will be provided by synchronising the Global Address List/Directory into the Office365 service using the Directory Sync feature. Single sign on will be provided from the on-premise Active Directory to the Office365 cloud based service through the use of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Deploy RPC/HTTP if not already deployed Provision of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Provision of Active Directory Synchronisation Service Setup and deliver email routing infrastructure Migration of user and resource mailboxes Change MX records once the last user is switched Implement Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) - 5 days @ 850 Implement RPC/HTTP if not already deployed - 1 day @ 850 Implement Active Directory Synchronisation - 2 days @ 850 Architectural design and implementation of Office365-5 days @ 750 Total: 10,550 Mailbox Migration - @ 750 per 250 mailboxes (per day), less than 1GB avg per mailbox ** Not available for professional or small business plans (P1). Staged migrations are also not available for native Exchange 2010 on-premise systems.

Tier 5 - Hybrid SME/Business migration (Tier 5 - Hybrid **): (Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010) 50-10,000 Users There will always be a mix of on-premise and cloud mailboxes Cross-premise mail-tips maintained Exchange Federation services for Calendar and Free/Busy Online mailbox moves into and out of (On-boarding/Off-boarding) supported (Ex change 2007 and 2010 only) Offline mailbox moves into and out of Office365 supported (Exchange 2003) Enterprise archiving Rich coexistence Migrate as and when required Exchange 2010 SP1 Client Access Server (CAS) required for rich coexistence Active Directory federation for single sign-on Active Directory synchronisation to Office365 Full featured Free/Busy and Calendar sharing between on-premise and cloud Outlook profile maintained (OST, rules etc. maintained) Time to complete is 4+ weeks A customer who falls into this category would be a client with a larger organisation (50-10,000) users who will move some users to the cloud but maintain some user s on-premise, or it may just be a very long term migration from an existing on-premise Exchange system. For this to take place, email will continue to flow into the on-premise organisation and be redirected to cloud mailboxes for those users that have been migrated. Mailboxes can be moved online (users can remain logged in to their mailbox) from Exchange 2007/2010 into the cloud whilst preserving the OST and Outlook settings. The mailbox moves will be offline (users must log out of mailbox) for Exchange 2003. Rich coexistence with on-premise systems will be provided by synchronising the Global Address List/Directory into the Office365 service using the Directory Sync feature. Single sign-on with on-premise Active Directory user accounts to the Office365 cloud based service will be provided through the use of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Migration from Exchange requires a new Exchange 2010 SP1 Client Access Server (CAS) server installed and configured and so if this is the case we will require a week onsite to implement this. Full fidelity Free/Busy and calendar sharing will be provided through Exchange 2010 federation

Tier 5 - Hybrid SME/Business migration (Tier 5 - Hybrid **): (Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010) Provision of Exchange 2010 SP1 Client Access Server CAS (migrations only) Provision of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Provision of Active Directory Synchronisation Service Provision of Exchange Federation Services Setup and deliver email routing infrastructure Migration of user and resource mailboxes as required Implement Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) - 5 days @ 850 Implement Exchange 2010 SP1 Client Access Server (CAS) - 5 days @ 850 Implement Active Directory Synchronisation - 2 days @ 850 Architectural design and implementation of Office365-5 days @ 750 Total: 13,950 Mailbox Migration - @ 750 per 250 mailboxes (per day), less than 1GB avg per mailbox ** Not available for professional or small business plans (P1).

faqs Office 365 offering FAQ Q. What do I lose if my outlook profile is not maintained? A. Any settings that you would have set in outlook options such as rules, signature lines, fonts etc. will be lost. If you are in cached mode, where you take the mailbox offline, this cache will also be lost. After your mailbox is migrated you will re-cache the new mailbox which can take some time if you have a large mailbox. You will need to manually re-create all outlook settings yourself. Q. What is a fast migration/cutover? A. All mailboxes will be synchronised up-front to the cloud email service. The migration service will then run one full synchronisation pass on each mailbox every 24 hours. When we are ready we will switch all users to the cloud service in one go and redirect all internet mail to the new cloud mailboxes. One final migration run will occur 24 hours later to pick up any other email left in the old system, and then the migration will complete. Q. What is a staged migration? A. This migration is used when there are too many mailboxes to achieve a short cutover. In this scenario mailboxes will be moved in batches over a longer period of time. Inbound email flow will continue to arrive at the on-premise email system and be forwarded to the cloud mailboxes for those users who have been migrated to Office365. Q. What is single sign-on (ADFS)? A. If you are of a size business where you have deployed Microsoft Active Directory on premise, you will have a set of credentials that you use each morning to log into your domain. Typically you will change your password every 30-60 days. If we implement single sign-on (ADFS) you will log in once as normal in the morning with your on-premise username and password and access the cloud services with this account. If not, you will require a second password from Microsoft to access cloud services. Microsoft will make you change your password with them every 90 days. Q. What is Active Directory Synchronisation - (DirSync)? A. Again, if you have Active Directory and Exchange deployed in your organisation already, it would be preferable to synchronise the objects into the cloud service from your onpremise system, rather than create them again in the cloud manually. Attributes such as photo, office data, name etc. will be synchronised, so you only have to manage your onpremise directory and not the cloud version. Q. What is Rich Coexistence? A. Some companies will opt for the Hybrid Solution, where some users will always remain op-premise and some users will be in Office365. In this configuration, migration will occur over a longer period, but more importantly, users will be able to share Calendars, Free/ Busy and a unified Global Address List between on-premise and Office365 based cloud users. This is a permanent or long term solution. Parative Ltd 2nd Floor 145-157 St John Street London EC1V 4PY T: 0800 970 9851 W: www.parative.com
