The Tikiz Franchise Opportunity 1

How It All Started J ust about every man, women and child in America can recall the sight and sounds of an ice cream truck at a park or event on a warm sunny day. The familiar jingle sent children grabbing for spare change and running outside to acquire their favorite frozen treat. The Ice Cream Man was a local hero that served ice cream and happiness to everyone on his route. These were the golden days of the ice cream truck industry when parents could trust the integrity of this mobile business and the Ice Cream Man was a well-groomed and established member of the community. Now picture the last few ice cream trucks you have seen, how likely would you be to run out to them, or trust the Ice Cream Man in the presence of your children? The odds are, most likely not. The ice cream truck industries glory has eroded to unkempt individuals in worn-out, unsanitary vehicles trying to make a few quick dollars. Once this void in the mobile ice cream truck industry was realized, the creation of the Tikiz Shaved Ice and Ice Cream concept was born. The Tikiz product line combines two of the most popular mainstream frozen treat products that everyone loves, Ice Cream and refreshing Hawaiian Shaved Ice. These delicious and refreshing products are distributed from the Coolest Ice Cream Truck On Earth. 2 This brochure is not an offer to sell a Tikiz franchise. The Tikiz franchise opportunity is offered only by delivery of a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to you in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission s franchising rules and various state franchise sales laws.

A Fresh Concept The Truck The Tikiz Truck was designed from the ground up to be a one-of-a-kind eye catching shaved ice and ice cream truck. During the conceptual stages of building the Tikiz truck, there were no limits on the custom components placed on and in the truck to make sure it was the wildest, most appealing shaved ice and ice cream truck someone would ever see. Some of the key features include: Brand New Ford heavy-duty chassis and truck body Self serving, patent-pending Surv-Board where customers can dispense their own custom fruit syrup creations An exotic highly visible Hawaiian beach themed vehicle wrap Custom real surf board lighted signs No generators. Everything runs from high output batteries that charge over-night or from the trucks alternator Top of the line high output Ice Shaver. Produces 400 to 600 small shaved ice within an hour Custom built stainless steel and aluminum cabinets, quality refrigeration equipment, advanced electronic gauges, self contained water system & more Aftermarket custom 20 inch chrome wheels with specialty fire design tires Inviting tropical steel drum music playing on an exterior Bose speakers Custom HID headlight bulbs, siren style LED strobe lights and under truck revolving neon lights to bring major attention to the vehicle at night and low light areas 20 tall Air Dancer inflatable Tikiz character for use at special events, parties and FUNdraisers Many More Exciting Features! Industry Snapshot The U.S. market for Ice Cream and related frozen desserts neared $25 billion recently. The international ice cream association states that 93% of United States households consume ice cream. About 50% is sold through supermarkets and 50% at local ice cream parlors. Ice Cream is the most known and recognized dessert in the world. The Hawaiian Shaved Ice industry has been a frozen treat favorite for many years with thousands of permanent and seasonal locations worldwide. The sweet and refreshing taste of shaved ice on a warm day has made this frozen treat an extremely popular product at events and gatherings for a very long time. 4 This brochure is not an offer to sell a Tikiz franchise. The Tikiz franchise opportunity is offered only by delivery of a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to you in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission s franchising rules and various state franchise sales laws.

The Winning Recipe In order to truly be successful in the Mobile Vending Industry, there are 4 key factors that create a winning recipe. They include: Having an eye catching vending vehicle to stand out from other vehicles to attract customers Having popular product offerings Having a low product cost margin (Tikiz is 15% or less) Speed of the product delivery system to go through customers as fast as possible The Tikiz menu consist of pre-packaged Ice Cream and Hawaiian Shaved Ice. Having only two products with very limited menu choices to make at the time of the cash transaction allows the Tikiz operator to take orders quickly, produce their product(s) within seconds, collect the cash for their order and move on to the next customer. The Tikiz Franchise Opportunity 5

Go Out & Get Em The Tikiz mobile business offers more flexibility and allow you to go where the crowds are. Carnivals, fairs and festivals, as well as special events such as, parades, air shows and parties (or any public event for that matter) are all great at providing a captive consumer base. While special event vendor fees can be high, operational overhead is extremely low since you will not have to pay rent on a year round basis. Establishing a route, vending at weekend events or parties, or setting-up a semi permanent location can be very profitable. Here are just some ideas on where to seek customers with your mobile Tikiz business Commercial Fairs & Festivals Super Markets Department Stores Flea Markets Schools Day Care Centers Shopping Centers Tourist Areas Beaches Water Parks Campgrounds Historical Landmarks Travel Terminals Recreational Ballparks Lakes Playgrounds Amusement Parks Public Pools Zoos Residential - On main roads leading to: Cities Suburbs Sub-divisions Municipal Parks 6 This brochure is not an offer to sell a Tikiz franchise.
