New users need to follow the registration instructions for Single Sign-On (pages 2-8). State of Michigan Single Sign-On Registration Instructions for First Time Users Step 1: Registration to Single Sign-On (SSO) Complete the requested information (some items are required *) and click on the Continue button. Fill in the required fields on the SSO registration landing page. Once the required fields are completed, please click on the Continue Button. 2

You can add a four-digit number to the user ID or the system can create one for them. The number presented in the blue outlined box on the bottom of the form is to protect our system from being flooded with user ID requests. Users must type this number in the white box directly above. Users can click on the Continue button. The user is then presented with a confirmation page. The data entered by the new user is displayed for review before the data is submitted to the SSO system. If corrections are needed the user can select the Back button. If the information is correct, the user selects the Submit Button. Write Down your User ID. You will need it from this point forward for entering the system. 3

The user will receive an Email with the user ID and a temporary password. Click the Close button and the registration is completed. A dialog box will ask if they wish to close this window? Users can click on yes and the web browser will close. We require that users close their internet explorer for security reasons. The new user will receive an email with a link they can use to configure their new account. This email is sent to the email address the user listed when they registered. The email will have a temporary password that can only be used once to log into Single Sign On. Write the temporary password down. The e-mail will also include a link that users can click on and it will automatically bring them to the Login Page. Users must then enter their user ID and temporary password. Once users click on the Login button they will be informed that their password has expired. 4

This completes the Subscription to the application using the Single Sign On. NOTE: Write down and keep your Used ID and Password. These will be required from this point forward to get into the Tournament Information System. I cannot stress enough the importance of keeping track of your User ID and Password from this point forward. If you have trouble with any of the steps on pages 2-7 you must contact Client Service Center at 877-932-6424 and request help signing up for State of Michigan Single Sign On.
