This class assumes you have a good working knowledge of the prior AutoCAD releases and covers most of the new features and commands in the current AutoCAD release. This class can cover a single release in a 1-day format or multiple releases in a 2-day format. Civil 3D Fundamentals This course covers the essentials of AutoCAD Civil 3D while emphasizing significance of styles and templates. Upon completion of the course, students will have the knowledge to: manage point data create, edit and analyze surfaces, establish a site, model road corridors, create grading solutions, manage pipe networks, export data and generate reports. Civil 3D for Surveyors This in-depth AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 for Surveyors Course is for surveyors and survey technicians that do not necessarily need all of the functionality that is taught in the AutoCAD Civil 3D Fundamentals training guide. This training guide equips the surveyor with basic knowledge needed to use the AutoCAD Civil 3D software efficiently in a typical daily workflow. Students learn how to import the converted field equipment survey data into a standardized environment in the AutoCAD Civil 3D software and use the automation tools to create an Existing Condition Plan. Data collection, least square analysis, and traverses are also covered. Other topics that help in increasing efficiency include styles, proper AutoCAD drafting techniques, the methodology needed to create linework efficiently for variables used in defining symbology, surfaces, categorizing points, and importing imagery.
Civil 3D Advanced Grading The AutoCAD Civil 3D Software supports a wide range of civil engineering tasks and creates intelligent relationships between objects. This interactive 2-day training course is recommended for students that are required to create site grading plans using the AutoCAD Civil 3D software. This training guide is also ideal for managers that require a basic overview and understanding of this aspect of the AutoCAD Civil 3D software. BIM Workflow for Roads and Highways This course takes you through an example workflow for road and highway design project using the Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite Ultimate software. Students use the Autodesk Infraworks R2, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk 360, AutoCADWS, and Autodesk 3ds Max Design software to complete a road design project from project planning through visual communication and construction documentation. InfraWorks Fundamentals This class is designed for civil engineers, planners, architects, and others using the Autodesk Infraworks, Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite Premium, Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite Ultimate, or Autodesk Building Design Suite Ultimate software. This training class provides users with a fundamental knowledge of how to take advantage of the accelerated design process that uses data-rich 3D models with high-end visualizations. This enables users to create, evaluate, and better communicate 3D site plan proposals for faster approvals. Revit Architecture An introduction to Revit Architecture, a parametric change building model technology. Change is automatically coordinated everywhere in your project-model views or drawing sheets, schedules, sections, plans, and renderings. The basics of building information modeling. 4 DAY CLASS Revit for Construction This Revit course is optimized for the construction professional as opposed to the design professional. This course will show you how to use the functionality in Revit in a BIM process to better prepare for the construction process by being able to create constructability models from the design models. Constructability models can be used for many tasks including coordination, visualization, scheduling, and use in other BIM products focused on construction.
Revit Conceptual Design The objective of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Conceptual Design & Visualization course is to enable students who have worked with Autodesk Revit Architecture to expand their knowledge in the areas of Conceptual Design, including massing studies, space planning, visualization and rendering. Revit Site & Structural Design The main purpose of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Software is to design buildings: walls, doors, floors, roofs and stairs. However, architects also frequently need to add site and structural information. This course covers the elements and tools in the Autodesk Revit Architecture software that are used to create topographic surfaces for site work and to add structural elements. Revit Collaboration Tools The objective of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Collaboration Tools course is to enable students who have a basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit to increase their productivity while working with other people on a team, either in the same firm or other firms, and while working with Autodesk Revit files or other CAD files. Revit Structure This course covers the basics of Revit Structure, from schematic design through construction documentation. Students are introduced to the concepts of BIM and the tools for parametric design, linking to 3rd party analysis, construction documentation, and working with architects that use and do not use Revit Architecture. This course offers imperial hands-on exercises representing realworld structural design scenarios. Revit BIM Management The objective of the Revit Architecture BIM Management Course is to enable students who have worked with Revit to expand their knowledge in setting up office standards with templates that include annotation styles, preset views, sheets, and schedules, as well as creating custom element types and families.
