Outline This specifications document contains items related to CC-Link-connectable flexible cable conformance tests. A cable shall be judged connectable to the CC-Link after passing all of the tests specified in this specification document. This specification applies only to Ver. 1.10-compatible products. For details, refer to the CC-Link Conformance Test Regulation (Cable Edition) (BAP-05013). This specification contains tests carried out by both the manufacturer and the CLPA association. Test items are as listed below Noise test Measurement of electrical characteristics Aging test Combination tests Tests shall be performed according to the specified configuration, communication speed and -to- distance The data communicated between the master and test is changed each time so that no identical data is transmitted successively. Communication is considered normally executed if no count is added to the SW00C0 to 00C8 registers (retry execution count or similar) in the master module. (4/12)

Master module Link special registers (SW00C0 to SW00C8) Number (buffer memory Name Content Details address) Number of During 1 link scan, if SW00C0 (6C0 H ) Number of retries executed retries communication is established normally within the setting number of retries, or if the number of retries is exceeded (data link error), 1 is added to the count (+1). (Example) When the retry setting is the default of 1 to 3 times, and if normal communication is established at the third retry, only 1 is added to the count (+1). Accumulated number of retries Cleared when the SB0010 is SW00C1 (6C1 H ) SW00C2 (6C2 H ) SW00C3 (6C3H) SW00C4 (6C4 H ) SW00C5 (6C5 H ) SW00C6 (6C6 H ) SW00C7 (6C7 H ) SW00C8 (6C8 H ) TIME error CRC error Abort error Hardware error Line error Software error Invalid XCD Overflow Number of timeout errors detected Number of CRC errors detected Number of abort errors detected Number of hardware errors detected Number of line errors detected Number of software monitoring timeouts Number of invalid XCDs detected Number of receive buffer overflows occurred turned on or at power-off. Retry processing is performed for the set number of times, and the with which data link could not be established is detected as a data link faulty. The accumulated number of errors occurred is input for each error definition. Cleared when the SB0011 is turned on or at power-off. Master module Link special relays (SB0010 to SB0011) Number (buffer memory Name Content Details address) SB0010 (5E1 H bit 0) Number Number of retries clear The number of retries is cleared clear OFF: no clear instruction ON: clear instruction issued SB0011 (5E1 H bit 1) Send path clear Number of line Send errors clear (cleared during ON) The number of line Send errors is cleared. OFF: no clear instruction ON: clear instruction issued (cleared during ON) Note: Please refrain from disclosing the corresponding buffer memory addresses to customers and others as they are areas not disclosed to users. Measurement of Electrical Characteristics There must be a document attached specifying each item s measuring device name, measurement configuration and method. Result Test item Measurement contents Judgment criteria Manufacturer (Required) 2-(1) Measurement of conductor resistance Measure conductor resistance. Values within target conditions are acceptable so they do not always have to be these values. Target values: 37.8 /km or less at 20 degrees C. CLPA (Confirmation) 2-(2) Measurement of insulation resistance Measure insulation resistance. 2500M km or more at 20 degrees C 2-(3) Dielectric withstand voltage test Perform dielectric withstand voltage test. 500 VDC for 1 minute 2-(4) Measurement of capacitance 2-(5) Measurement of characteristic impedance Measure capacitance.
