Fire testing in laboratories Efectis extensive testing facilities allow us to carry out almost any type of fi re test. These vary from standardized tests up to tailor made tests. Innovation More than just a standard activity, the «Innovation spirit», in direct links with the R&D program, is part of the Efectis genetics. The Efectis teams are developing scientifi c approaches, tests benches and equipment. The best illustration is the creativity in the fi eld of ad-hoc tests, a specifi c and new problem to be solved where Efectis imagines a new test equipment and test method. The MobiFire can be applied to all kinds of structural elements, such as ceilings, fl oors, roofs and walls. The damage to the structure will be very limited, thanks to the fi re controllability. All fi re curves are possible (ISO, RWS, HCM) for any desired duration. The MobiFire allows to demonstrate the fi re resistance capabilities of the construction element. Especially this is of interest for concrete structures, where the spalling behavior has to be determined adequately.
