SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION VTNETWORK has received CBN regulatory approval to rollout mobile money in Nigeria. VTNETWORK has been at the forefront of payment innovation in Nigeria since 2007, with over 7 million transactions processed pre-launch and rapid adoption by local and international merchants who have found Nigeria to be an untapped market with over 43 million internet users with limited access to buying goods and services. VTN was selected to power USA-Africa trade mission submit in Maryland, USA in 2008. Following a recent effort to recruit agents, over 1600 agents have signed up and there are over 5000 registered merchants on VTN many of which will find value in becoming an agent. About 28 million Nigerians are banked in a country of about 150 million and following the CBN's cashless policy that was announced to take effect from June 2012 coupled with the World Bank's support of same, it is believed that the policy will fast track the nation's financial sector. Mobile payment has been well adopted in many parts of Africa, Europe and Asia. Combined market for all types of mobile payments is expected to reach more than $600B globally by 2013. VTN to replicate MPESA's Success story in Nigeria US $415 million per month is transacted in person-to-person transfers on MPESA, a mobile payment service in Kenya. A bigger opportunity beckons in West Africa (Nigeria). Likewise same company was reported to have moved a total of $8.1 billion in 2010. Conclusion: Finally, we are extremely excited about the opportunities before us, and going by the indicators and explosive nature of mobile money in other African countries such as Kenya and Ghana, we believe that mobile money will be the next big thing after GSM revolution in Nigeria. 4

Change Password VTN considers user security as top priority, so we provide you a way to change your account password and pin and security questions and answers from one location at anytime. Edit Profile Edit Profile option gives you the flexibility to change your account profile at anytime. You can change your address, contacts and almost everything that you have filled in the registration form. Fig 4: Edit profile 9
Upload your photo (optional) This is an optional feature that may not be necessary for agents at this time, but may be considered useful down the road. Upload your Photo option helps you to load your recent colored passport size photograph in your profile. Loading photograph is important as it adds credibility to your profile. Activate Scratch cards: Click on this icon to activate scratch card for your customer Activate Scratch cards Card Serial number The card will be activated. Notify VTN of deposit made at the Bank: Click on this icon to Notify VTN of deposit made at the Bank To notify us whenever you made a deposit at the bank for crediting to your agent account Bank name/teller /receipt number/date and amount deposited Your agent account will be credited. Invite friends and make money: Click on this icon to invite friends To invite those who have not registered on VTN in the past. Transfer to Graphcard: Click on this icon to transfer money to Graphcard account of anybody Your customer may need help to transfer funds to their Graphcard account. Email of the customer and the amount in Naira to be transferred Master agent must determine how much fee they charge for this service, however VTN will not charge any fee and Graphcard will not charge any fee. Sell epins: Click on this icon to sell epins (single unit or in bulk to your customers To sell epin, you must click on this icons and enter the denomination desired and the email of the buyer/customer. You must have purchased the epin before, otherwise the system will ask you to purchase the epin first The epin sold will be sent to the buyer s email. Register Customer: Click on this icon to register a customer To register a customer under you. VTN Mobile Money Agent requirements The following are the requirements to be a fully authorized VTN Mobile Pro agent: A) STANDARD REQUIREMENTS Registration requirement Where the agent is a corporate body or a registered business: The agent must be registered as a Business with CAC Where agent is an individual: Two references to be verified by VTN (B) Minimum Agent outlets The Agent must have at least (1) outlet ready to offer VTN Mobile Pro under the company names. The agent outlets must be located in a visible business district / street. VTN Agents are expected to have their existing businesses running. For those entities that want to set up specifically to operate as an agent, the company business plan is required to determine their marketing plan and cash flow projection. (C) Category of existing business Gas Stations Libraries Food Chains Supermarkets Pharmacies GSM accessories/cards Note: These are just a few examples, we'll be happy to review other business types not mentioned above 34
(D) Bank Account requirement: Maintain an active current account with a Commercial Bank of choice in Nigeria E) Premises and their Maintenance requirements VTN Mobile Pro Agents (a)a VTN Mobile Pro agent must conform to our branding and merchandising policy. The minimum branding requirements will be supplied to you on commencement of business. (b) Staff The agent should preferably employ staff with minimum of OND certificate but not less than SSCE and at least 6 Months previous customer service experience to handle the service. (c) Technical Requirements The agent office must have the following equipments before commencing operations: (a) 1 Computer/Laptop. Minimum Basic computer technical specifications: Operating system: Windows Vista/ Windows 7 Processor: Intel Pentium / Celeron Memory: Minimum 2GB Memory Hard disk space: 80GB Hard drive Security: Installation of Internet security/antivirus/ anti malware software Browser: Microsoft Internet explorer or Firefox (The computer must be Internet ready) (c) At least 2 people to handle head office operations on a day to day basis (not on a full time basis). (d) Internet connectivity with good connection speeds () 1 printer for printing downloaded reports. (e) Any other items/equipment necessary to conduct the business like desks chairs, stationery, pens and a pay-point. (f) A functioning telephone line either landline or mobile for contact.
