13 You can set up your membership and CashBox by phone or online.

14 To set up your account by phone 1. Call the Merchant s toll-free Genie Number. The number is displayed on your merchant s Genie Gateway. 2. Press 8 to learn more about the CashBox To activate your Genie CashBox, press 1 To hear an explanation describing the CashBox, press 2 To make a purchase or send a payment, press 3 3. If you want to make an immediate purchase or send a payment by phone from the main menu, press pound (#). You ll be prompted through the payment process.

15 Create your CashBox automatically online during your purchase To activate your membership and create your CashBox automatically: 1. Click on the Pay button or check out using the shopping cart. 2. Follow the instructions for New Accounts 3. Your membership and CashBox will be activated automatically during your purchase.

16 To set up your account online without a purchase Buyers, click the GREEN button to activate your CashBox Lite. Merchants, click the RED button, to begin a Genie Gateway trial.

17 After clicking the GREEN button, fill in the short form to activate your Genie CashBox Lite. Anyone over 18 with a cell phone and a credit card can qualify.

18 To set up a merchant s account, click on the RED button and complete a similar form, you can activate your Genie Gateway and merchant account trial, in minutes.

19 After signing up your confirmation page will be displayed. You will also receive a text message and that provides your Genie number and password.

20 The CashBox Lite account is free. You can always upgrade to a Premium account if you want to get your own toll free number, and use Genie to MAKE or RECEIVE phone calls with complete privacy.

21 You are now ready to load funds into your CashBox and to purchase goods and services from other members. Choose the account from where you want to load money into your Genie CashBox either credit card, PayPal, or your checking account.

22 To use PayPal fill out the form and load your CashBox directly from your PayPal.

23 Or load your CashBox with a credit card or your bank account. After your CashBox is loaded, you can proceed with purchasing.

BY PHONE To make a purchase or send a payment by phone, just call your merchant s 24-hour toll free number, and when the call is answered press the pound (#) key. 2. ONLINE To make a purchase or send a payment online, just visit your merchant s Genie Gateway and click on the Pay or the Buy button.

26 When you fill out the online transaction form, your merchants may require a shipping address with your payment.

27 Both the buyer and seller will receive a confirmation text message and after the sale is made. Merchants receive payments immediately.

28 Another way to make a purchase or send a payment online is to log into your Genie account. After logging in, choose Financial on the right side.

29 Next, choose Send Payment

30 Enter transaction details. Click Send.

31 After every transaction, the buyer and seller will receive confirmation by text and .
