meet the artist Hello! My name is Vairdy and I am an award winning lifestyle portrait photographer. I specialize in maternity, newborns and families. With a diploma in Professional Photo Imaging from Langara College, I have 10 years experience working as a creative. Starting out as an assistant and studio manager, then launched my own business as a post-production artist and worked for some the top local ad agencies. I got married, my focus shifted to families and I began to photograph the babies and children in my life. I am the proud mother of twin boys, and the arrival of my babies only increased my passion for baby and family photography. My sweet boys inspire me daily. HELLO I believe in the inspiring beauty of tangible art and my aim is to create heirloom portraits that are printed, enjoyed and loved by the entire family. My home is filled with printed images and albums. My boys and I couldn t imagine our home without them. I am free-spirited + creative, I love lattes + comedy, I am an artist + a storyteller, I love dark chocolate and surfing, I play in the mountains, I love dancing + being silly, I have a deep respect for the ocean, I fear snakes and spiders, I love giving back where I can, I don t hesitate to dream big and I love to love.
