Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser To remove the security certificate warning page during login the Gateway web interface by importing the Gateway certificate into the Internet Explorer and/or Mozilla Firefox browser.

Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 3. Select the Open button in the File Download dialog. 4. Select the Install Certificate button in Certificate dialog. 5. Select the Next button in the Certificate Import Wizard dialog. 3
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser White Paper 6. Select the Place all certificates in the following store and then the Browse button. 7. Select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities node in the Select Certificate Store dialog and then the OK button. 8. Select the Next button. 4
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 9. Select the Finish button. 10. Select the Yes button in the Security Warning message box. 11. Select the OK button in the Certificate Import Wizard dialog. 5

If the Gateway's Ethernet Protocol page is using the Specify an IP address in the Primary Interface, the Gateway's hostname needs to be unique. Add the Gateway's IP Address and Gateway's hostname in the system C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file. 14. Do the same for the secondary interface if it is being used. 6
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 15. Use the Gateway's hostname in the URL to login from the Internet Explorer browser. It will not have the security certificate warning message. 7
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser White Paper 1.2 Import Gateway's certificate into Mozilla Firefox 1. Login to the Gateway web interface. 2. Uncheck the Permanently store this exception check box. 3. Select the Confirm Security Exception button. 8
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 4. Go to the web Gateway Setup>Security>Certificates page and select the Import Gateway certificate into web browser button. 5. Select the Import Gateway certificate into web browser button; check the Trust this CA to identify websites check box, then select the OK button in Downloading Certificate dialog. Close the browser. 9

If the Gateway's Ethernet Protocol page is using the Specify an IP address in the Primary Interface, the Gateway's hostname needs to be unique. Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 1.3 Delete the imported Gateway's certificate in browsers If the Gateway certificates wee rebuilt for some reason, the imported certificate in browsers need to be deleted to allow users login to that Gateway again. 1.3.1 Delete the imported Gateway's certificate in Internet Explorer 1. Select Internet Explorer browser Tools > Internet Options menu; in the Content tab, select the Certificates button. 11
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser White Paper 2. Select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab, find the imported Gateway certificate in the list, and select the Remove button. The Gateway serial number can be found in Diagnostics>Advanced>Client/Server page. 12
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser 1.3.2 Delete the imported Gateway's certificate in Mozilla Firefox 1. Select the Firefox Tools>Options menus. 2. Select the View Certificates button. 3. Select the certificate that has the Gateway's serial number item and select the Delete or Distrust button to delete the imported gateway certificate. 13
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser White Paper 1.4 Incorrect import Gateway's certificate If you imported the Gateway Certificate from the IE Address bar Certificate Error icon button, it will import the wrong certificate into the browser and the Certificate Error will not go away. 14
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser Website security certificate warning page displays after imported the certificate in the Gateway web interface login page. The incorrect certificate will be in the IE Internet Options menu under the Content tab; select the Certificates button, and then select the Other People tab as shown below. To delete this incorrect imported certificate, select the item in the list and then select the Remove button. 15
Import the Gateway Certificate to the Browser White Paper If the Windows system doesn't allow removing the imported Gateway's certificate in the Other People, run the certmgr.msc to delete it. 1. Run the certmgr.msc in Run program. 2. Expand the Other People>Certificates node in certmgr program. 3. Select the certificate, right click on it, and select the Delete option to remove it. 16
