Using dust penetrating low frequency acoustic waves to generate surface mapping of the stored materials, the 3D Solids Scanner takes the guesswork out of solids level measurement. There are three models to choose from depending on your application: Rosemount Series 5708L: Average Level The Rosemount 5708L is optimized to measure level. Its smaller beam-width concentrates the signal over a smaller area and provides a basic level measurement. Rosemount Series 5708V: Volume Provides highly accurate readings of level and volume. Works in most containers and operates with a variety of beam angles. Rosemount Series 5708S : Volume and Visualization Offering the same functionality as the 5708V but with the addition of software that allows 3D visualization of the stored contents. This feature is useful for mapping build-up and other irregularities that form. For very large silos, multiple scanners may be required to cover the whole area. 8 Measure your inventory even in large storage facilities When you need to measure very wide silos, domes, large open bins, bulk storage rooms, stockpiles and warehouses, the Rosemount D Solids Scanner system is the solution. The Rosemount 5708 will measure virtually any material over a wide area, but in some applications two or more scanners may be needed. The output from the scanners are merged together into a single 3D map of the whole surface.
