Turn left out of the apartment, turn left again on the rue de l Université, at the first intersection turn left towards rue du Bac. You will see the Monoprix on your left. There are plenty of small specialist food shops along the rue du Bac, in both a northerly and southerly direction. There are two farmer s markets not far away: on the Boulevard Raspail on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings, and on the Boulevard St Germain you will find at Place Maubert, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning. You are also near to the Grande Epicerie at the Bon Marché department store found at Sevres Babylone one stop from rue du Bac. You will find a shopping trolley in the apartment and you can have provisions delivered at no extra cost if you spend a certain amount. There are outdoor fruit/vegetable stalls, a great butcher etc in this street and also some wonderful cafés where you can sit in the sun and read the papers before you eventually do the food shopping!
