1 WELCOME GUIDE Hello, Welcome to your residence! Thank you for choosing the Residence J. Restignat. In this guide you ll find some helpful information during your stay in Paris. Before your arrival : - Documents for the OFII (Only for non-european students) Form from the Frech Embassy, called «VISA DDE LONG SEJOUR DEMANDE D ATTESTATION OFII» Copy of the passport page with your picture Copy of the visa Copy of the immigration stamp - Your birth certificate (with your parents names) for foreign students: this is necessary to get French housing allowance from CAF. - Home insurance: Home insurance is mandatory in France. You can subscribe with a bank or online with this link (19.89 / year): (english version available) - Bed linen and dishes: the residence does not provide linen bed (blanket, pillow, sheet), or dishes. If you want to rent a linen kit, please let us know before your arrival (70 for the stay). How to get the residence from airport : By Taxi Taxi Cachan - Orly airport: approx. 15 day / approx. 20 night and weekend Taxi Cachan - Roissy airport: approx. 40 day / approx. 55 night and weekend By train RER From Orly airport Take Orlyval, direction Antony : get down at Antony station From Antony station, take the commuter train (RER) line B (towards either "Robinson" or "Saint- Rémy les Chevreuses"). Be sure that the sign «Bagneux» or «Arcueil-Cachan» is lip up. Get down at "Bagneux" station : when leaving the station, make the first left and go straight until the first traffic light. At this point, you turn left again to reach Rue du Loing: the residence is at the beginning of this street Loing, next to the bridge. From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport Take the commuter train (RER) line B (towards either "Robinson" or "Saint-Rémy les Chevreuses"). 1

6 Wifi and internet at the residence Wifi is free in commun parts of the Residence (kitchens and working rooms). If you d like Internet in your room, you should contact an operator. The cost of a basic package (wireless, television, internet...) varies between 20 and 40 /month. You should give the residence s address and your room number to the operator (Be aware of the letter of your building A or B) When you are at the residence We remind of some commun rules - Rent to be paid before the 5th of each month - Clean the stove and dining tables after each use - Be sure to put the name of the residence and your room number for your mail Example: M.
