Our Philosophy There are values common to all Warwick Hotels. We care for and cherish local traditions; we take pride in enhancing local characteristics in tasteful and luxurious settings. Many of our hotels have their own story to tell. William Randolph Hearst built the Warwick New York in 1926 for his Hollywood friends and the hotel has welcomed celebrities ever since. The Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa in Bali stands amidst its original stone temples, keeping alive the rich and cultural heritage of this ancient island, home to the Royal Family of Ubud. The Hotel Helvetia & Bristol in Florence, a 19 th century mansion, has welcomed Florentine aristocracy for over a century and continues to be the preferred hotel for distinguished guests from all over the world. Tropical plants and wildlife surround the 215 luxurious cottages of the Misty Hills Country Hotel near Johannesburg, an oasis of calm filled with traditional African culture. The Altstadt Vienna Hotel is home to an unique collection of European and North American modern arts, which is lovingly displayed in the rooms and suites of this 1902 «Belle Epoque» townhouse. The Hotel Westminster, on the prestigious Rue de la Paix in Paris, recently celebrated its 200 th anniversary as one of the first hotels in the «City of Light». Warwick International Hotels brings a global presence to your own precious and unique hotel. Diversity in location and difference in culture nourish Warwick s ability to provide the perfect environment to seasoned travellers. And it is a genuine pleasure and desire of all of us to rise up to that memorable moment, long to be remembered and cherished. Warwick International Hotels The Collection Life is a Collection of moments Let Warwick be part of it. 2 - Warwick International Hotels Warwick International Hotels - 3
History Hotel portfolio development Owned hotels Affiliate hotels Managed hotels Warwick International Hotels (WIH) was founded in 1980 with the purchase of the Warwick New York Hotel. In its first decade, WIH concentrated on the ownership and management of its hotels, solidly establishing a core brand of 4 and 5 star properties in North America, Europe and the South Pacific. Having acquired a strong exposure within the travel industry, WIH was approached by individual hotel owners wishing to benefit from the expertise of WIH s sales, marketing and distribution capabilities to join our global sales network. WIH s Affiliation Member Hotel program now consists of over 30 hotels, almost all of them being independently, privately-owned. WIH developed a strong corporate team in Revenue Management, which provides advice on strategies and their implementation to individual hotels. In this respect, it is also the owner of the private label GDS code: WK, permitting WIH hotels to receive direct electronic reservations. Over the years, WIH has founded and subsequently expanded its private label reservation services including voice, internet, mobile telephone and other electronic reservation channels. In addition, WIH continues to be active on a range of Sales & Marketing activities such as direct participation in important trade shows and industry conferences. It also has established a presence in social media and other means to establish a direct rapport with its clients. WIH continues to bring to you a fresh, common sense approach to today s ever changing hospitality industry. Further enhancing its core business model, WIH recently decided to strengthen its management arm in strategic destinations such as the Middle East and the Gulf regions. WIH now manages 4 properties in Jordan and Lebanon and is confident to further expand its presence in the Middle East and North Africa. With over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry, WIH has a proven reputation for offering high quality accommodation in tasteful and luxurious settings. Its core hotels give WIH stability, a commitment to long-term development and loyalty to its core values.
