Plan Highlights The new Emplyee Discunt Plan ffers a 35% discunt n hme phne, Internet and satellite TV services frm Bell. This initiative des nt yet include wireless services. By enrlling t EDP, yu will autmatically be registered t One Bill (if yu are nt already enrlled in One Bill) which will permit yu t add all yur Bell accunts n ne invice. The 35% discunt will apply t all Bell accunts in yur name (including thse used by dependants with whm yu are dmiciled) lcal access - all residential lines (e.g. primary line, cttage line) lng distance Smart Tuch TM services, Simple Cnnectin bundles Internet services (e.g. dial up, high speed, high speed ultra) satellite TV services (channels, themes, mvies, ffers and packages) In designing the new Emplyee Discunt Plan we have ensured that the new ffering des nt give rise t a taxable benefit. As the plan evlves, it may becme necessary t mdify the plan design r the list f eligible residential prducts and services t ensure the plan cntinues t nt give rise t any taxable benefit. Eligibility 1- Regular full-time and part-time emplyees, including emplyees n disability r any leave f absence. Enrlment perid Enrlment begins Nvember 7, 2005 with the discunts applying n bills dated n r after January 1, 2006. Yu will have until Nvember 18, 2005 t send yur frm duly cmpleted t the address indicated n the frm. If yur frm is received after Nvember 18, 2005, yur discunts will apply at a later date. All frms will be prcessed shrtly after Nvember 18; therefre it is imprtant that yu send yur frm n time in rder fr yu t get the discunt as sn as pssible. N retractive discunts will be granted t emplyees submitting their frm after Nvember 18, 2005. Once yur registratin is prcessed, yu will autmatically be enrlled fr One Bill. The nly difference will be the billing date One Bill is nt available in large print, landscape r Braille frmat. Default Payment Optin Yur first One Bill will autmatically default t yur primary hme phne payment ptin (i.e. cash payment, pre-authrized payment, etc.). Fr simplicity, althugh all methds f payment are available, we encurage yu t select the pre-authrized payment ptin. Page 3

Yes, as lng as the accunt is in yur name and yur relative lives in the same residence as yu. Q. If my spuse has a small business at hme, will the 35% discunt apply t this line and/r services? A. N. Only residential services are eligible t the discunt. Q. If my spuse wrks at Bell Technical Slutins r at Bell Canada, will we receive a 70% discunt? A. N. The discunt is nt cumulative. There is nly ne 35% discunt per accunt r husehld. Q. If my sn ges t university and lives in anther city, is he eligible t receive the EDP discunt? A. Yes, as lng as he is yur dependent. The nly thing yu need t d is ensure the accunt is in yur name. Q. What is the definitin f a dependent fr the purpses f EDP? A. Yur child will be cnsidered a dependent if he/she is: yur natural, legally adpted, legal ward r step child (including dependent children f a cmmn-law spuse) financially dependent n yu fr supprt unmarried and nrmally lives with yu (except when away at schl) under age 18, r under age 25 if attending an accredited institutin f learning as a fulltime student. Yur spuse r cmmn-law spuse will be cnsidered yur dependent if she/he is: the persn t whm yu are legally married, r a persn f either sex with whm yu have lived in a cnjugal relatinship fr at least 12 mnths and have publicly represented as yur cmmn-law spuse. If yu d nt enrl there is n autmatic default cverage and n retractive credits will be granted if we d nt receive yur enrlment frm by Nvember 18, 2005. Q. If I am n leave f absence r disability benefits, hw will I enrl? A. Emplyees n leave f absence r disability benefits during the enrlment perid will enrl using the EDP enrlment frm available frm the Intranet r thrugh yur Human Resurces Department. Q. Once I have subscribed t satellite TV and wish t change my service t have a different package r add SmartTuch TM services t my hme phne, d I need t fill ut the enrlment frm? A. N. Just call the apprpriate service prvider and request the change. Yu d nt have t fill ut the enrlment frm if yu are just upgrading a service that yu already have n yur One Bill. Q. If I wish t add a service that is nt yet n One Bill, what d I need t d? A. If yu are adding a new accunt t One Bill, yu need t cntact the apprpriate service prvider t establish the service. Fr example, if yu wish t add ExpressVu, cntact 1 888 SKY-DISH t add the service. Once the service is established, cmplete the EDP enrlment frm t add the new service and send it t the address indicated n the frm. Q. If I wish t add a service t an existing One Bill accunt after the enrlment perid, what d I need t d? A. If yu are adding a service t an existing accunt n One Bill, yu need t cntact the apprpriate service prvider t establish the service. Fr example, if yu wish t add Smart Tuch TM services, cntact 310-Bell t add the service. Since yur hme phne services are already n One Bill, there is n requirement t cmplete an EDP enrlment frm. Eligible Residential services Q. Des the discunt apply t additinal lines at my primary residence r cttage? A. Yes, as lng as the additinal lines are in yur name. If yu are unable t have Bell as yur service prvider fr yur cttage line, ensure yur lng distance service is prvided by Bell. Yu will then be able t have the 35% discunt applied t yur lng distance services. Q. Are prducts and services prvided thrugh Bell Wrld stres eligible fr the new discunt prgram? A. Hme phne and Internet services purchased thrugh Bell Wrld stres cntinue t be eligible t the 35% discunt. Hardware such as crdless telephnes, digital cameras, wireless sets are nt eligible t the discunt. Q. High Speed Internet service with Sympatic is nt available where I live. If I use anther Internet service prvider, will I be eligible t the discunt fr that particular service. A. N. Yu must btain yur services whether Internet, hme phne r satellite TV frm Bell t be eligible t the 35% discunt. Q. Will the discunt apply n all packages f satellite televisin services? A. Yes. What shuld I d if all my accunts are nt in my name? A. Yu must cmmunicate with each Bell service prvider and have yur name changed befre yu fill ut the EDP enrlment frm. On that frm, yu must enter all yur accunts and they must be in yur name. Q. I have an existing One Bill accunt but it is nt in my name. Will I be charged the 25$ fee t change the name? A. N, yu will nt need t pay the name change charges. Q. I am adding an ExpressVu r Sympatic accunt after my One Bill has been established. I have t change the name. Will I be charged fr a name change? A. There is n charge t change the name n an ExpressVu r Sympatic accunt that is being attached t One Bill. If yu want t change the name n the One Bill accunt t be the same as ExpressVu r Sympatic yu will be charged. Remember the name n yur accunts must match yur emplyee recrd. Q. If I want t change the directry listing n my One Bill accunt will I be charged? A. Yes there is a $25 charge t change yur directry listing unless it is due t a legal change f name withut change f respnsibility r change f respnsibility due t death. Q. When will I receive my first One Bill? A. Once enrlled, yu shuld receive yur first One Bill during the mnth f December 2005 r January 2006. Q. Will my first One Bill have all the new EDP discunts n it? A. N. Yur EDP discunts will be reflected n bills dated n r after January 1, 2006. Q. Q. I am currently receiving my bill in large print. Is this pssible with One Bill? A. Unfrtunately, large print frmat is nt available with the current One Bill system. Q. Where can I validate the name n my Sympatic accunt? A.
