Voice Mail System at Columbus State Setting up a Mailbox If the prime line on the phone you re using is the same number as the mailbox you want to log into: The system will ask for security code -> press 0000 Follow the prompts for setting up mailbox. If prime line is not the same as mailbox number: If asks for security code, press *. If not or if then, press # and follow the prompts. Security Code cannot be the same as mailbox number. Enter twice in response to prompts. Greeting Not suggest say, away from desk or on the phone Suggest ask for detailed message. Name your name or just title. Used in prompts with system msg.
