Maximum Efficiency in Technical Plant SPPA-M3000 Plant @WebBFS Answers for energy.
Maximum Efficiency in Technical Plant Energy Suite SPPA-M3000 Plant @WebBFS Overview SPPA-M3000 Plant @WebBFS, the integrated management system for technical plant management, provides specialized solutions for the work processes and tasks in power plants. It is, however, just as useful for other process-oriented production plants. The benefit? Effective support for maximum efficiency. Suitable support of the work processes in technical plant management considerably improves the flow of information, communication and administration. Tapping substantial optimization potential thus becomes possible. The plant management system is available as stateof-the-art Web-application and also in Client/Server architecture. Increased productivity due to current information on the plant and operation as well as structured and reliable communication Continuous improvement of the quality and safety of the work due to regular review of maintenance strategies and optimized workflows Increased reliability, availability and safety of the plant Interfaces to other systems, such as the DCS or information system, the document management system or commercial applications (e.g. SAP). Work-oriented planning, execution and documentation of safety precautions and tag-out and lock-out. 2
Field-tested solutions for effective plant management Plant Data Spare Parts Maintenance Project- & Outage Maintenance Strategy Shift Basic System Occupational & Operational Safety Document Interface Maintenance Efficient and effective maintenance All maintenance measures as well as restructuring or new building projects are reliably planned, tracked and documented with Plant. Both the planning and the actual work can be executed according to schedule, keeping an eye on the effort and costs involved and taking into consideration the required resources as well as the tag-out/lock-out measures and safety precautions. The work planning and order program provides integrated support for all major maintenance strategies, such as fault/failurebased maintenance, preventive, periodical maintenance and condition-based maintenance. The modular structure of SPPA-M3000 Plant @WebBFS and the integrated data and object models make it possible to implement the system in several steps or use individual solutions without any negative effect on the integrated operation of the programs. Plant Data Solid basis for all activities The Plant Data module provides information compilations as required and supplies current plant data to all programs. This enables to effortlessly describe the complete plant in a structured manner, according to uniform rules and without redundancies, taking into consideration a variety of views. All it takes is a few basic data and Plant is ready for operation fast and efficiently. Existing databases can easily be taken over into the new system. In addition, fast-entry dialogs facilitate adding required data with the system in operation. Maintenance Strategy Saving with optimized strategies Saving on maintenance costs without compromising the plant s safety? Plant Maintenance Strategy makes it possible for maintenance managers to methodically determine the best strategy on the basis of the fault/failure behavior of the respective item. An individually customizable graphical decision tree supports determination of the strategy and documentation of the decision criteria. Findings made in the course of maintenance work are provided in an information and knowledge base to support regular review of the individual strategies. The right maintenance strategy reduces costs considerable. 3
Occupational and Operational Safety Maximum safety at the least possible effort The danger potential in process plants is especially high for maintenance work. Plant operators are required by law to keep the safety hazards in the plant and for the staff to a minimum. The resulting tasks and work processes for plant management are supported by the Plant module Occupational and Operational Safety. It provides, e.g., a work permit and approval program including the planning, execution, monitoring and documentation of tag-outs and safety precautions. Moreover, it supports hazard evaluation, recurrent tests and supplies information on operational and occupational safety as well as on handling hazardous substances. Spare Parts Just as required The integrated Spare Parts module provides comprehensive support for requisitioning and supplying spare parts, thus ensuring smooth execution of the maintenance work. Its main objectives are optimizing the stock level for the selected maintenance strategies, providing fast access to required parts and ensuring that the parts meet the technical requirements. Shift Transparent operation Logging process data and events of a shift in a clearly structured manner either manually or automatically via an interface to the DCS is easy with the Shift module. Specially developed for deployment in power plants and process plants and accessible online from any workplace, the Shift allows flexible shift planning and professional logging of all critical shift events. Even creating and distributing shift instructions and orders is easy and audit-proof documentation of confirmation and/or execution is ensured. Document Reliable archiving, fast retrieval anytime Without system support up to 40 % of an employee s daily working hours are required for obtaining information. The Document module facilitates registering, classifying and describing all documents. Even version control is provided. This allows targeted searches to find the right document in no time. Any related linked documents can be opened from the respective program, e.g. the Plant Data, at the push of a button. Project and Outage Keeping control even of large projects The Project and Outage module provides the right tools to effectively plan, track and document maintenance inspections and larger repair, new building and restructuring projects. Dividing the project into sub-projects with specific assignment of responsibilities makes keeping track much easier. Moreover, the order management lets you plan and track project work, schedules and costs in detail. Large-format schedules can be edited and printed via an interface to MS Project. Global references proof the customer benefits; also at Zhunge er Power Plant in China. 4
SPPA-M3000 Plant @WebBFS the right choice for maximum efficiency! Developed from practice for practice In contrast to standard systems, Plant was specifically developed from practice for practice and comes with classification systems, catalogs, drop-down lists, data groups etc. This ensures fast implementation, effective support and high acceptance. Additionally, the integrated tools make it possible to customize the programs for the plant s specific situation, organization and workflows fast, cost-effective and, most of all, release-proof. Plant has also been successfully used in Siemens O&Mprojects for many years. Comprehensive service: All from one source We are your competent partner in all matters of technical plant management, whether it is the implementation of Plant or the migration of data, maintenance or user training.
