The product is a modern day development of the SIPS method of construction initiated in the USA in 1928 and extensively used by many advanced nations around the World. Using new materials and advanced technology helped to create an energy efficient home (no less than 7 Star energy rated) with exceptional thermal insulation and sound attenuation characteristics. Our system is neither modular nor transportable. Each and every house is designed by Fred Zuideveld, one of Perth s leading architects, with full flexibility to create a comfortable living space without being restricted by the rigidity and constraints of modules; and taking into consideration the house s position on each lot and its orientation. NicheQ s system is fast to install, 9 weeks ready for occupancy for single storey houses and 13-15 weeks for two storey ones. All type of finishes and colours are available to suit individual tastes. The system is designed to withstand cyclonic conditions up to Region D. - Product Overview The Walls NicheQ panels are a high density fully integrated insulated structural panel (one of the thickest in core is protected by two 8mm high impact skins of high-strength, non combustible and 100% water resistant Calcium Silicate board. The high density fire resistant closed cell Polyurethane grade used, gives exceptional mechanical properties, prevents mold creation and provides excellent termite resistance. The thickness of the external walls allows sufficient depth for windows reveals and sills which make the house more aesthetically pleasing and normal looking. The high ceilings (over 2600mm) give an added feeling of comfort and normality to our houses. The house is finished in a high Polymer textured paint render with an endless selection of colours that can be chosen to reflect the surrounding natural environment. Insulation Anticon insulation is provided under the roof to reduce radiated heat and insulation to the ceiling s is provided by the insulated ceiling panels. Windows Windows are made of commercial grade Aluminum mounted on an Aluminum weather tight sub frame. Versatility Lights and ceiling fans can be located at any point on ceilings as they are not restricted to being at a structural member or having to be between joists. Ceilings The integrated insulated panels with metal skins provide a high level of both thermal and acoustic insulation as well as better structural integrity. Product Overview Termite Protection Slabs are termite treated and panels are installed on an anti termite tape along the perimeters. The hybrid polyurethane panel material is also termite resistant.
