Job details Job title: Director of Asset Management Responsible to: Executive Director of Property Responsible for: Location: Overview of the role The overall purpose of the Director of Asset Management role is to provide leadership and direction to all staff within the Asset Management function. This includes leading on the development and implementation of functional strategies, managing staff and being responsible for all areas of performance and budgets within the Asset Management function. The Director of Asset Management also works as part of Plus Dane s overall leadership team to successfully implement strategies and a high level of performance across the organisation. This includes working to develop strong and effective cross functional working initiatives and taking the lead on developing and implementing specific corporate initiatives. Main responsibilities and accountabilities Details on the main responsibilities and accountabilities of the Director of Asset Management and Repairs role are provided below. Leadership Provide specific leadership to staff within the Asset Management function. As part of the Plus Dane s executive team, provide corporate leadership to the whole of organisation. As part of the Leadership Team work to embed Plus Dane s vision, values and mission, and chosen organisational culture. Consult with and influence and build relationships with key external stakeholders. Strategy With the Executive Director of Property lead on the development and successful implementation of strategies, business and financial plans in the Asset Management and Shape the services in the Asset Management function to meet the needs of customers, stakeholders (internal and external) and other opportunities. This includes identifying growth initiatives, partnership working and taking the Neighbourhood Investor programme forward. As part of Plus Dane s Leadership Team work with the Chief Executive and Executive Directors to help shape Plus Dane s overall corporate strategies and business plans. Performance management Accountable for all performance and achievement of targets, goals, objectives etc. within the Asset Management function. Drive sustained performance across the whole of Plus Dane. Lead on initiatives to deliver business improvements within the Asset Management and

Promote a customer and performance focused culture within the Asset Management and Responsible for the delivery of all programmes of work within the Asset Management and Finances, budgets and resources Accountable for the delivery of budgets within the Asset Management function. Ensure all of Plus Dane s assets and resources are used efficiently and effectively. Governance Ensure that Plus Dane operates within all regulatory guidance, statutory and legislative requirements. Responsible for the identification and management of risks within the Asset Management function and support risk management activities across the rest of the organisation. Management Provide clear leadership and direction to all staff within the Asset Management and Encourage and promote cross functional working between teams across Plus Dane. Functional Delivering the cyclical and planned investment programmes Developing and delivering an option appraisal process and team that supports the development of active asset management within Plus Dane. Leading the Health and safety and sustainability functions within Plus Dane Managing three60, Plus Dane Groups commercial property subsidiary Other Provide expert professional advice to the Board, Executive Team, other directors and staff as required. Ensure all work is aligned to the vision, mission and values of Plus Dane. Ensure that all functional strategies, policies, processes and guidance notes are up to date and in line with best practice / current legislation. Carry out all other duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time, with the level of this job description.
