POSitivitiES Positive Psychology in European Schools PositivitiES is a Comenius Multilateral European Project that aims to help European teachers to learn, practice, apply and share experiences of Applied Positive Psychology in Education. Positive Education is explicitly addressing the individual and collective wellbeing in schools by promoting the psychological health and full development of children. "There is substantial evidence from well controlled studies that skills that increase resilience, positive emotion, engagement and meaning can be taught to schoolchildren". Positive Psychology contributes by providing a theoretical and scientific framework to facilitate the integration of interventions and activities that effectively promote wellbeing, engagement and positive climate in the classroom and school.

POSitivitiES Positive Psychology in European Schools This presentation guides PositivitiES participants on the access to the on-line course and methodology

ACCESS TO THE COURSE Once PositivitiES coordinator receive affiliated form, teachers are registered as students in the e-learning platform. Each teacher receives its personal key access and password with which access the course. Teacher should access the course from the Web www.positivities.eu On the bottom left, click on Access to On-Line Courses

You will see the following screen Enter your username and password and click in Log In

In the following screen, you will see YOUR COURSES, and the Course in which you partcipate. Click on the Course title to continue.

You have accessed to the main Menu of the course. You will see on the left an Introduction, a Quick Guide to start and course Modules.

Inside each unit you can access the different sections both from the menu on the left or from the images on the main screen. Each module consits in 4 working sections. Read the Quick Guide to know how each section works.

These sections correspond to the following phases of the learning process:

C O U R S E P R O G R A M M E These are the 8 Modules you will find in this course: Module 1. Introduction to Positive Psychology Module 2. Attention and Awareness Module 3. Emotional Regulation Module 4. Motivation Module 5. Engagement and Meaning Module 6. Flow. Optimal learning experiencies Module 7. Sharing Experiences Module 8. Outlines for applying the positive psychology in schools

Working on these 4 sections will make your learning process more effective, active and constructive, since it is made from the point of view of experience, intellectual, relational and application in both personal and professional life. We strongly recommend you to work the 4 sections for a profitable course.

This section contains the theoretical content of the Module. You can access the documentation by clicking on the image or from the menu on the left "Knowledge. At the beginning of each module you will find a Time-In exercise: take some time to these reflections and your learning will be very different, richer, funny, reflections will awake your curiosity on the subject, and make your reading more interesting.

In this section you will find some proposals for you to experiment on yourself the main positive psychology practices. Positive psychology personal Practices We describe and propose some positive psychology practices, whose effects and benefits have been demonstrated and validated in scientific studies. The aim of the course is that you can benefit from your personal practice, and chose what kind of practices are more effective and suitable for you. This will help you in the further application of resources in the classroom.

In this section, you will access to the participants community. The goal is to share your learning experience and your concerns and interests on the issues that appear in the Module You raise doubts or questions about each topic. experiences. The objective is to learn also from the others participants The Forum is an open community. Go inside and open a new theme, comment your practices or share your reflections.

We want this course is for you a little help to live a more meaningful life. And what will contribute to this by far is that you can apply what you learn to your professional life as a teacher. Therefore, in this section we propose some practices and resources that you can perform in the classroom. Practices and activities to do with a group of children / as We propose ideas that will help you teach children the joy of life, to enjoy what they do and do things and learn with awareness, the satisfaction of sharing, receiving and giving.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE THE MOST FROM THIS COURSE? PLAN THE TME YOU ARE SPENDING ON THE STUDY Try to reconcile the course with your other commitments, so take full advantage and enjoy this learning experience. KEEP A WEEKLY RHYTHM AND BE CONSTANT: Do your best to fulfill your weekly study plan. The material will be available until the end of the course. INCREAE YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND PARTICIPATE: Do not just basic reading. Enrich your way through the course with additional information, participation in community forums and research in the Internet links or bibliography. PRACTICE AND EXPERIENCE: We especially insist that you take out some of the practices proposed to experience positive psychology. It will contribute immensely to your experience in the course and it will be much more interesting and meaningful.
