5 Chevron Training s FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Childcare programme provides learners with the knowledge and skills to work effectively within any childcare setting. This award is obtained upon completion of 8 modules which have been developed to ensure that learners are appropriately prepared for a career in childcare. 23 When will the exams take place? The classroom exams will take place over a half day on a Saturday or Sunday in a classroom location in Cork, Dublin or Galway. These are scheduled every two months. I have completed some of the minor awards with another training provider, can I complete the remaining modules with Chevron Training and still receive the major award? Yes, you can complete the remaining modules with Chevron Training. You will be awarded a component certificate for each module you complete with Chevron Training and upon completion of the 8 component certificates, you will be issued with the major award. Is there work experience required? Each module requires at least 8-10 hours work experience. This is sourced locally at your preferred pre-school. Can I access a demo of the online course?
