My current research focuses on analysis of current and new intervention strategies to aid in the reduction of E. coli O157:H7, non-o157 STECs, and Salmonella in live cattle and beef, while maintaining research efforts in pathogen reduction strategies in the produce industry. Additionally, I have worked extensively within the poultry industry to establish new food safety intervention strategies against Salmonella and Campylobacter jejuni and with the swine industry with Salmonella interventions.
