MECHANICAL ENGINEERING The Department of Mechanical Technology Education was set up the Master Degree of Science in Industrial Education major in Mechanical Engineering; the programme is interdisciplinary courses between Engineering discipline and pedagogical practice with intended to develop a graduate with unique professional qualifications The first series of course provides the Advanced Mathematics, Contemporary in Education, and fulfill of major engineering courses such as Applied Mechanic and Fluid Mechanics, Energy Engineering, and Automatic Control Area, etc. The core of program of study begins with integrated course between mechanical engineering courses and education courses, then, follow up by advanced mechanical engineering course. These engineering core courses drawn from the master degree in Mechanical Engineering curriculum, While the Industrial Education course are concerned with the problem that currently face the technical college, The programme are also intended to shape the technical teacher well being of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Finally, the program is encouraging graduate students to conduct their research and development. Based on the curriculum, the program of study has been designed to meet the currently need of the technical teacher, the purpose are as follows: - To balance between cognitive and practical element of technical teacher curriculum. - To improve their teaching ability of technical teacher on the Mechanical Engineering subject at the higher level. - To produce a practical understanding of the role of administration. - To raise their performance and skills of technical teacher and engineer career. - To raise their research skill in technical education.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS LNG 550 Remedy English Course for Post Graduate Students 2(1-2-6) This course aims to instill the background language and skills necessary for undertaking LNG 600 and to raise the students confidence in using English. There will be no predetermined focus of the course, but instead it will concentrate on those areas where the students are weakest and need most improvement. The classroom teaching and learning will be supported by self-directed learning to allow the students to improve their language and skills automatically. LNG 600 In-sessional English Course for Post Graduate Students 3(2-2-9) The main focus of this course is to prepare students to be able to fully participate and learn in an English-medium environment. To this end, the course covers language, cognitive and metacognitive skills while also changing students attitudes towards language and learning by building their confidence, enhancing risk-taking attitudes and motivating students to develop themselves further. By simulating the stages undertaken in preparing and presenting research from finding references to writing a final draft and giving an oral presentation, this course addresses the real world academic needs of postgraduate students. The course uses authentic content prepared in cooperation with staff from other faculties and in-dept content support is provided in addition to language teaching and learner training.
