1 Curriculum Structure for Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Degree Program (2013) Chiang Mai University Plan A1 Degree Requirements Total: 36 credits Curriculum Structure: A. Thesis 36 credits ME 798 Thesis 36 credits B. Non-credit Courses 1. Students may be required by the University and/or Graduate School to pass an English language proficiency test or otherwise register for improvement course(s). The credits earned (if any) cannot be counted as accumulated credits to fulfill program requirements. 2. The Department may require students to register for selected course(s), at either graduate or undergraduate level, outside the program as a condition for acceptance. program requirements. 3. Upon the thesis advisor s recommendation, students may be required to register for selected course(s), at either graduate or undergraduate level, outside the program. program requirements and are not transferable. Some courses in 3.1.3(3) can also be selected if the topic of Seminar or Special Problem corresponds to the thesis work and this is approved by the program committee Other elective courses a minimum of 3 credits Select 3 credits freely from any field in 3.1.3(2) or from 3.1.3(3) or from the remaining required course in 3.1.3(1).
