More precisely, he/she is responsible for performing the following functions: General Responsibilities: - Assisting the Project Coordinators in the development and management of the assigned projects. - Managing the assigned projects and delivering an efficient and effective logistics support to all NAMSA contractors and field sites. - Undertaking technical feasibility and research related to the support requirements during the life-cycle of the projects. - Performing project management functions for the two main projects, including integrated schedule control and resource planning aspects. - Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for local procurement and logistical support services. - Liaising with national authorities on issues related to the assigned projects, as required. - Coordinating on Statements of Work (SOW) for assigned projects. - Managing the assigned projects contracts including tendering processes, evaluation and coordinating with the national customer. - Supporting contractor resource mobilization efforts, import / export coordination, and other logistics arrangements necessary to ensure smooth performance of the contracts. - Developing logistics strategy for projects and ensuring its timely implementation. - Providing logistics guidance, advice and support to all project locations and field sites as required. - Providing input on logistics matters to the Project Manager and Project Coordinators. - Managing, developing, reviewing, implementing and monitoring project security measures incountry.
