Also, the Educational Testing Service - ETS (2013) reports that the average score of peruvians who took the international TOEFL in 2012 is 86 points, which is not competitive when applying to top universities in the world (it is required at least 100 points).

Purpose To raise the quality of the peruvian professional in level and number and providing the opportunity to continue postgraduate studies in the best universities in the world. Likewise, generate in scholars their own employment within or outside the country in jobs that have links with the linguistic proficiency in the english language.

Objective Develop proficiency in english (up to level C1) according to the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages* in young graduates of public and private universities obtaining international accreditation of language dominion through the scholarship.

Objective Population Graduates of different careers at public and private universities worldwide AGE RANGE POPULATION Population until 30 years old 1,000

Criteria for the selection of the scholars To have the academic or university degree or the graduate certificate issued by a public or private peruvian university. Have done placement test in the eligible educational institution that determines the basic level of english. To have up to 30 years old at the time of application. Be in poverty or extreme poverty according to the official report of Household Targeting System SISFOH (Sistema de Focalización de Hogares) and sent promptly to PRONABEC.

Scholarship Description The scholarship will be awarded for a period of 18 months. It will have an international certification level C1 (Advanced) according to the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages. It will include support to ensure the permanence and completion of studies. It will be linked to institutions, international organizations and institutions for possible access to international postgraduates.

Ministerio de Educación Eligibles Institutions The eligible educational institutions are: Peruvian British Cultural Association (La Asociación Cultural Peruano Británica). Peruvian Norteamerican Cultural Institute (Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano). San Ignacio de Loyola Private University (Universidad Privada San Ignacio de Loyola). Same as with Pronabec will sign the appropiate agreement.

Ministerio de Educación IES Commitment Eligible Educational Institutions: Evaluate with the english aptitude exam to the applicants, in a decentralized and free way. Provide an intensive course of 8 hours per day for 18 months. Provide specialized consultancy to ensure the completion of studies. Link scholars with organizations, institutions and binational entities to ensure the purpose of the program.

ENGLISH III 1.1 Identify, understand and think about the main and supporting ideas in simple texts written and oral in english language. 1.2 Participate in simple social exchanges asking, answering and reviewing English orally on topics of general interest and their environment. 1.3 Produce short texts of various formats on topics of general interest, their environment and using correct grammatical rules of the english language,

Linguistic Competition to develop according to The European Common Framework C1 B2 Choose an appropriate formulation of a wide range of linguistic elements to express themselves clearly and without limiting what you want to say.
