Construction and Infrastructure Development NCCF has undertaken construction activities in different states like West Bengal, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. NCCF on its own or with the help of business associates, if any, already registered for the purpose or any such other agency for the purpose, registered or unregistered, shall try to get the work either on the nomination basis or through tender. NCCF is having the following technical man-power:- (i) Junior Engineer - 1 (ii) Civil Engineer - 1 (iii) Chartered Engineering Firm for valuation of the construction projects. A proposal has recently been moved for seeking approval of competent authority for engagement of 1 Executive Engineer and 1 Assistant Engineer to handle the increased quantum of works related to construction. Engineers and technical staff of such engineering firm and business associates shall be treated in-house staff of NCCF as if they were on its permanent roll, even they for all practical purpose had been on the pay-roll and under disciplinary and administrative control of such firm. However, NCCF hires more technical staff depending on the requirement of construction work. NCCF selects its business associates based on expertise, credential, reputation, capacity, financial soundness beside satisfactory past performance and checks the progress of the work at every stage through its technical experts.
