Shipowners and Ship Management Services Founded in 1996, EMES Shipping and Transport S.A. was the first container shipping line in the private sector to operate vessels, and it now offers services under the name of Arkas Line in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea with its fleet of 42 vessels. Arkas Line has 97647 Teu container fleet that is equipped with special types of containers including open top, high cube, flat rack, palletwide and reefer containers. 8
