Cardiac Function Monitor Physical Examination Exercise This exercise will equip students with the theoretical and practical skills required to safely and competently take a detailed clinical history and physical examination of a patient, covering basic conditions and differential diagnoses. Students are exposed to the usage of such facility, as part of the exercise to continuously monitor the heart activity, with assessment of the patient s condition relative to their cardiac rhythm. Human Patient Simulator Lab The lab replicates the patient care environment offering students scenario-based clinical practice in a hightech setting. This way, lecturers are able to facilitate the problem-based learning and objectively measure student performance competencies.
