Introduction What is HLeBroking Mobile Trading? HLeBroking Mobile Trading is essentially a wireless application that provides realtime Malaysian stock market information and allows clients to buy and sell shares anytime, anywhere. HLeBroking Mobile Trading is compatible with most mobile devices and works on both Java and Windows Mobile operating systems. HLeBroking Mobile Trading comes with these features: Market Summary get a quick, broad glance at the market Most Active Counters, Top Gainers, Top Losers check out the stocks with the busiest dealing, the greatest gain, and the heaviest loss for the day Market Indices gauge market condition quickly using index figures and charts Lookup and Search look up a particular stock using its exact stock code or name, or simply search for it using approximate keywords My Favourites bookmark frequently-viewed stocks Single Stock Quote examine a stock in detail Trading place buy and sell orders, and track order status Password use password to secure transaction and protect personal data About this Guide This user guide accompanies all brands and models of JavaPhones that are compatible with HLeBroking Mobile Trading. Because JavaPhone operation can vary from one model to another, procedures in this guide reflect the menu structure of the program itself rather than the individual way it is rendered on a particular device. The phrase main menu describes the menu in the program that lists main features such as Market Summary, Indices, and so on (see page 5). The phrase menu of actions refers to the menu that provides actions on the current window or a selected item. For example, on the Market Summary window, you can open a menu of actions that lists the boards whose market summary you can view. Similarly, when you select a stock from the Most Active Counters list, you can open a menu of actions that lists actions such as Place Order, Add to Favourites, and Quote. General instructions such as open a menu of actions signal that this menu is available how to actually open it depends on your device. The page of some features for example the Quote page of Single Stock Quote (see page 16) extends beyond the physical JavaPhone screen. In this guide, these pages are shown in their entirety by stitching several screenshots together. 1
