ENTRIES Regulation 9.5 Please use the online entry and no late entries will be accepted. Singles main draw: 32 Doubles main draw: 32 Mixed main draw: 32 Closing date is 23 September 2014. All entries must be made using the BWF Online Entry System: Entries must be submitted no later than Tuesday September 23 rd 2014 at 23:59 BWF HQ time (GMT +08:00). Players cannot be entered unless they already have a BWF IDnumber. In case you wish to enter players who do not have a BWF ID-number, please contact the BWF office well in advance of the tournament, so that the players concerned can get a BWF ID before the closing date of the tournament. Players shall not plan their departure less than two (2) hours after their last match is planned to conclude. If a player is unable to compete due to early departure, he/she may be penalised by removal of ranking points and return of awarded prizes. BADMINTON EUROPE shall propose to BWF that the gained BWF ranking points are also removed. ENTRY FEES Singles: EUR 35.00 / CHF 43.00 Doubles: EUR 30.00 / CHF 36.00 per participant / event The Member Association that enters a player into a Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. The entry fees become due if a player is entered and has not been withdrawn by the Member Association be midnight local time on the closing date. If no payment has been received the invoice and original entry will be sent to BADMINTON EUROPE. WITHDRAWALS Please ensure that the organizer is informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, together with the reason. Please use the online system to withdraw your player (until the draw has been made) and inform the organiser by mail or fax. Attention: any withdrawal after October 5 th, 2014 (players being withdrawn on 5 October will not be penalized) for any reason renders the members association concerned liable to an amount of US$ 150 for the inconvenience caused by the withdrawal (as defined in the BWF General Competition Regulations). NO SHOW Any player not showing up at the tournament, without having been withdrawn in advance, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an additional amount of US$ 500,00 for the inconvenience caused by the no show (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations).

The following experimental law of Badminton (Appendix 3 Other Scoring Systems) applies to the playing of this tournament: Laws of Badminton Part II, Section 1B, Appendix 3 Other Scoring Systems 3. the best of five games of 11 points In the case of 3 above, the following variations shall apply to the Laws of Badminton: 7. Scoring System 7.1 A match shall consist of the best of five games 7.2 A game shall be won by the side which first scores 11 points 8. Change of Ends 8.1.2 at the end of the second game, 8.1.3 at the end of the third game, if there is to be a fourth game; and 8.1.4 at the end of the fourth game, if there is to be a fifth game; and 8.1.5 in the fifth game when a side first scores 6 points. 16. Continuous play, Misconduct & penalties 16.2 Intervals 16.2.1 not exceeding 60 seconds, only in the fifth game, when the leading score reaches 6 points and 16.2.2 not exceeding 120 seconds between the first and second games, second and third games, third and fourth games, and fourth and fifth games shall be allowed in all matches Please note only the variation to the regular laws in this system are included in Appendix 3 (wording above). All the regular laws such as 8.1.1 (change of ends after the first game) apply as per normal.

MEALS All warm meals could be taken at the hall. STRINGING SERVICE Provide by YONEX CLOTHING/ADVERTISING Clothing and advertising will be permitted in accordance with the regulations of the BWF. (Competition Regulations 19 to 23). For International Challenge tournaments, the name on the back of the shirt is mandatory for all matches in the main draw. It is up to each participant to insure himself. MEDICAL SERVICE Samariter and physiotherapists will be present in the sports hall during the tournament. DRUG TESTING According to Swiss Law Drug Testing may be carried out on a random basis at any time. VISA All participants needing a visa should request for the letter of participation from the organizer by the September 16 th, 2014. BETTING Betting might be offered from this event. Please note that betting is not allowed to be made by players or officials connected to the Event either in person or through a third party. Participants may therefore not make bets on the Event or procure through third parties the making of bets with a betting agency. Participants who, in violation of this prohibition, nevertheless make or procure through third parties the making of bets with betting agencies shall be immediately disqualified from participation in the Event and are liable for legal prosecution. Similarly manipulation of games will be met with disqualification and possible legal prosecution. Any violation mentioned above is also a breach of Player's Code of Conduct (Art. 5.2.) and will be sanctioned by BWF.
