XFINITY gives you the latest episodes from all the major networks. Catch up and keep up with your favorites. Ninety percent of XFINITY On Demand choices are free. Watch the latest movies a month before they arrive at Netflix or Redbox. New movies are released on XFINITY On Demand on Tuesdays. Watch your XFINITY On Demand programs in any room of the house. 7 DVR Controls Watch what you want, when you want, and never miss your favorite programs. DVR SERVICE Schedule your DVR to record a favorite series automatically or record a great movie or event, then watch it when you want. 1. Press on your remote control while watching TV to record a show. Or, while viewing TV Listings in the Guide, highlight the program you wish to record and press. 2. Press and select MY RECORDINGS to watch shows you ve recorded. 3. Select a program to play. You can schedule DVR recordings online! Go to www.xfinity.com/mydvr, or download the XFINITY apps to your tablet or smartphone, and sign in. Check the TV Listings, then set your DVR to record your choices, including currently airing programs. DID YOU KNOW? You can record a series by pressing selecting SERIES RECORDING. twice while viewing TV Listings and allow you to skip ahead or back in 5-minute intervals. 8 Parental Controls Parental Controls let you set the rules when it comes to what your family can watch. WHAT KIND OF SHOWS CAN YOUR CHILDREN WATCH? You have the ability to prevent your kids from seeing programs or channels you don t want them to watch. 1. Press twice on your remote control and select PARENTAL CONTROL from the Main Menu. 2. Cable In/RF In HDMI To TV/RF Out Power HDMI Power HDTV Or Non-HDTV Cable Wall Electrical Connect a coax cable from your cable wall outlet to the Cable In/RF In connection on your set-top box. Make sure this connection is finger tight. You may only need one coax cable for your set-top box connection, so select the length that suits your needs. For the best HD picture quality, connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI connection on your HDTV to the HDMI connection on your set-top box. If you are using the HDMI cable, you will only use one coax cable for your set-top box connection. Or Connect the other coax cable from the Cable In/RF In connection on your TV to the To TV/RF Out connection on your set-top box. Make sure this connection is finger tight. 10 Power Up & Activate Turn your TV on. Make sure that your TV is set to the proper input or channel (3 or 4). Activation To activate your service, you will need the Activation Information card found in your XFINITY folder. If you have other XFINITY devices to connect, complete those connections now so you can activate all your devices at once.
