Family of Concealable Body Armor (FoCBA) Evolution Description: FoCBA will provides concealable ballistic and stab protection that is comfortable to wear over extended periods of time. It consists of a modular enhanced combat helmet with a retention, suspension system and ballistic NAPE pad. The ECH provides improved ballistic and fragmentation protection while providing necessary blunt impact protection and stability greater than or equal to current ACHs at similar weight. Capabilities: 50% increase in fragmentation protection Increased 9mm protection Provides limited rifle protection Vendor: 3M Subsidiary Ceradyne, Inc.
