General information The 8 th Seili Virus-Cell Interactions Symposium (generally known as Seili meeting ) will focus on the current and future trends in virus research including structural, biochemical, cellular and systems biological approaches, and applications within diagnostics and biomedicine Meeting Venue Seili, Nauvo, Finland (http://www.seili.utu.fi/en/) Organizers Dr. Sisko Tauriainen (Department of Virology, University of Turku) Dr. Michaela Nygårdas (Department of Virology, University of Turku) Dr. Petri Susi (Diagnostics Group, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Turku) Supported by: Prof. Ari Helenius (ETH, Zürich, Switzerland) Prof. Kalle Saksela (University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland) Prof. Ari Hinkkanen (University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland) Dr. Varpu Marjomäki (University of Jyväskylä, Jyväskylä, Finland) Participants Seili Archipelago Research Institute is capable of accommodating up to 50 participants in its premises. Traditionally, the participants are the key characters in Finnish molecular and clinical virology, supported by 5-10 invited (foreign) speakers. Credits Abstracts and oral talks accepted. 1.5 ECTS for graduate students who participate actively (Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku).
