WELCOME TO ROME! Dear Colleagues, Nurses, Associates and Friends, The Sixth International Conference on Pediatric Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (PCRRT) is returning to Europe. The meeting is a joint work of pediatric critical care and pediatric nephrology in both Europe and North America and we are pleased to announce Rome as the host city. The program will continue its balance between how to do PCRRT with data on outcomes, acute kidney injury, sepsis, hepatic failure and intoxications. It is open to colleagues in both critical care and nephrology, as well as nursing, physician staff, pharmacy and industry. Travel grants will be awarded to two nurses, two critical care fellows and two nephrology fellows based upon submission of an abstract with a high scientific score as decided by the abstract scientific committee. Presenters will be available throughout the meeting for informal discussions with participants. We hope you will join us for what will be a great exchange of ideas for improving the care of critically ill children and an opportunity for intellectual interchange with associates and colleagues throughout the world. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Rome. Tim and Stefano Timothy Bunchman MD Professor & Director Pediatric Nephrology & Transplantation Helen DeVos Children s Hospital Grand Rapids, MI, USA Stefano Picca MD Chief Dialysis Unit Dept. of Nephrology and Urology
