Nearly diagnosed with high blood pressure that would follow me for the rest of my life, I knew I had to make changes. It took a couple of years to get to where I am now, but the hard work has paid off. I ate more healthy foods, exercised, and became more active throughout his day. By doing this, I was able to drop nearly 70 pounds in the first 15 months. This wasn't accomplished by becoming a strict vegetarian and saying no more to cookies. I accomplished this through moderation. I always say that if I can do it, than so can you. In 2013 I completed my first IRONMAN Triathlon, a 112 mile race of three disciplines in under 17 hours. Swim, Bike Run. My most recent venture has been a 26.2 mile marathon ruck (65 pounds) event in the Appalachian Mountains. I have been a professional Certified Personal Trainer since 2011 and have worked with dozens of clients.
