Usig the specialist vehicle meat the fieldwork could be carried out over four ights rather tha the origial estimate of four weeks, ad approval from the Local Authority was obtaied withi miutes. CASE STUDY Iverted Scaig The mahole chambers were surveyed usig a iovative solutio whereby the Leica 6000 3D laser scaer was lowered ito each chamber usig a iverted tripod. Data was collected at several levels icludig at the surface, that whe stitched together, created a 3D sca cloud of the whole chamber. As part of large topographical ad udergroud services survey at Three Bridges Rail Depot i Sussex, the route of a large diameter, deep level Thames Water sewer was idetified. The huge redevelopmet of Bak Statio beeath the streets of Lodo posed a serious risk to the historic buildigs above ad LU eeded to establish whether the structure of the Church could withstad excavatios plaed below. The origial pla was to carry out core-samplig through the walls, but this was rejected by the Diocese. As a result, ElectroDetectio developed a alterative methodology. Usig the IDS DUO groud peetratig radar uit, ElectroDetectio scaed the floors of the Church to locate both kow ad previously ukow crypts.
