Welcome to Georgia United! Below you ll find answers to commonly asked questions. Our goal is to ensure that the transition process is seamless for you. If at any time you would like more information, please don t hesitate to contact us at 888.493.4328, option 8. These FAQs will also be placed on georgiaunitedcu.org. Q: When will my accounts become Georgia United accounts? The conversion will take place over the weekend of August 1. Your accounts will have transitioned and be ready to use as Georgia United on Monday, August 3, 2015. Over the weekend you can still write checks and use your Etowah Valley debit card. Q: Will my account numbers change? Yes. Effective Monday, August 3, 2015, your account numbers and routing number will change. Please refer to your Welcome Letter included in this packet. Your Member Card containing your unique member number is affixed to your Welcome Letter. Each of your Georgia United accounts will be attached to this member number and designated by a two digit suffix; for example: Member Number: 1234567 Savings Account: 1234567 01 Checking Account: 1234567 02 Loan Account: 1234567 50 Q: What is Georgia United s routing & transit number? 261171309 Q: When can I start banking at Georgia United branches? Monday, August 3, 2015 Q: May I continue to use my etowah valley Debit card after the merger? Your Etowah Valley Debit Card will work until Monday, August 3, 2015 with a reduced daily limit over the weekend of August 1. After this date, please destroy your card. You will receive a new Georgia United VISA Debit Card during the week of July 20, 2015. Your new card will not work until Monday, August 3, 2015, so please continue to use your current Etowah Valley Debit Card until this date. Instructions to activate your debit card and set your PIN (personal identification number) will be included with your new card. Your new Georgia United VISA Debit Card will be equipped with more buying power! The cash limits on your Debit Card are: $500 per day for ATM cash withdrawals $1,000 per day for point of sale transactions (PIN based) $3,500 for signature based transactions 1

Q: Will I be charged for ATM withdrawals? All Georgia United ATMs are completely free when you use your Georgia United VISA Debit Card! ATM transactions performed at non-georgia United ATMs are subject to a foreign ATM usage fee of $0.75 per transaction. As a courtesy to you, we will reverse these foreign ATM usage fees! Q: How many branches will I have access to? You will have access to 18 full-service Georgia United branches, in addition to over 5,000 CO-OP Shared Branching Centers nationwide. For a complete list of all locations, please visit georgiaunitedcu.org. Q: Will my deposits continue to be insured? Yes. Your savings will continue to be federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000. The NCUA insures IRAs separately up to $250,000. Q: May I continue to use my Etowah Valley checking account checks after the merger? Yes. However, because your new Georgia United checking account features a new checking account number, you will also be receiving new checks. During the week of July 20, 2015, you will receive a complimentary box of Georgia United checks. Please begin using your new checks Monday, August 3, 2015. Please note that you will not be able to order any new Etowah Valley checks after Friday, July 10, 2015. Any outstanding Etowah Valley checks will clear through your new Georgia United account. Q: May I continue to use Bill Pay? If you are currently an Etowah Valley Bill Pay user, please look for additional information regarding Bill Pay. We will mail you a separate Bill Pay communication in a few weeks explaining required next steps. Q: I have direct deposit of my paycheck into my Etowah Valley account. Do I need to notify my employer of the change to my account number? Your direct deposit will continue without interruption. We recommend that you provide your employer with your new Georgia United routing and account number at your convenience. Q: I have automatic deductions from my checking account to a third party, such as my insurance company. Will these automatic deductions continue without interruption? Yes. If you have preauthorized transactions from your Etowah Valley checking account, such as a gym membership, mortgage, or insurance payment, these transactions will continue from your new Georgia United checking account without interruption. For any new transactions we recommend that you provide your new routing/transit number and account number. Q: I have automatic recurring fund transfers between my Etowah Valley accounts. Will these transfers continue without interruption? Yes. 2

Q: Will I be able to bank by telephone? Yes. With Georgia United s free automated telephone banking you can bank around-the-clock. Using any touch-tone phone, you can check account balances, transfer funds, confirm that a check has cleared, make withdrawals, and more. You will use your new member account number and a password that you create to access Georgia United s Instant Access Telephone Teller at 800.226.3584. Q: Will I be able to bank by mail? Yes. You may mail your deposits, loan payments and any other correspondence (please do not mail cash). Mail to: Georgia United Credit Union, PO Box 100070, Duluth, GA 30096 Q: How do I pay my loan? There are several convenient ways in which loan payments may be made: Cash (in branch) Checks Funds Transfer Q: Do you offer Overdraft Protection? Yes. Your checking account will have automatic Overdraft Protection from your Prime Share account for a small fee (see Fee Schedule). Please note that there must be enough available funds in your Prime Share to cover your transaction. Additionally, Georgia United also offers an added layer of protection with Courtesy Pay. In the event that there are not enough funds to cover your transactions, Courtesy Pay covers your overdraft items instead of having a check returned or debit card transaction declined. Qualifying members are eligible to receive enhanced Courtesy Pay benefits on their checking accounts! If you can access Courtesy Pay with your current Etowah Valley Debit Card, you will also have access with your new Georgia United Debit Card. If you have not requested Courtesy Pay coverage for your Etowah Valley Debit Card, you will need to opt-in to access this benefit on your new Georgia United Debit Card after Monday August 3, 2015 through Online Banking. Please note that Courtesy Pay is subject to eligibility requirements. Please review your Courtesy Pay Disclosure or contact us should you have any questions. Q: When will I receive my account statements? You will receive your final Etowah Valley July statement in early August. All Georgia United checking account and loan statements are processed on the last day of the month. All other Georgia United accounts will receive quarterly statements. Q: Will I continue to have access to my accounts through online banking? On Monday, August 3, 2015 you will be able to register for Online Banking through georgiaunitedcu.org. Once registered, you will have full access to your accounts and all online services such as Bill Pay and E-Statement s. 3
