2 Welcome to Deerwood Bank! Last year, Deerwood Bank acquired the former American Bank of St. Paul and merged the Metro branches into Deerwood Bank. The last phase of this acquisition will take place beginning July 15, 2016 with a software conversion where we officially transfer your accounts to our products and services. This guide book will help answer important questions regarding the official transition of your banking relationship to Deerwood Bank. 4 What to Expect WHAT TO EXPECT We understand change can sometimes be a little unsettling. Please be assured that we have taken every consideration to make sure that many of the changes you experience will result in a positive benefit to enhance your banking experience. Conversion will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 15, 2016 and will be completed by Monday morning, July 18, Your Transition Checklist You can change your PIN by calling any branch and requesting an EZPIN Reference Number or by making the change at an ATM. If your card has not arrived by July 13, 2016, contact Deerwood Bank at You may begin using your Deerwood Bank ATM/Debit Card after 3:00 pm on July 15, Your Transition Checklist Temporary Office Closures During Conversion Friday, July 15, 2016 after 3:00 pm AND all day Saturday, July 16th, 2016 Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights, Saint Paul and Apple Valley will be temporarily closed. Business will resume as usual Monday morning, July 18, THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2016 E-Statements Save or print your statements before July 14, Images of your former American Bank of St. Paul electronic statements will not be transferred to the new Deerwood Bank system. YOUR TRANSITION CHECKLIST Bill Pay Reminders and Memo Fields Document any reminders you have saved as well as the information in the memo fields as those will not transfer to the new system. Here s your Transition Checklist to help you through the conversion. Note that some of the following items may not apply to you. Your consumer Bill Pay account information will be transferred to the new Deerwood Bank system automatically, but your reminders and memo fields may have to be re-entered. 5 YOUR TRANSITION CHECKLIST FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2016 ATM/Debit Cards Begin using your new Deerwood Bank ATM/Debit Card any time after 3:00 pm Friday, July 15, Destroy your former American Bank of St. Paul ATM/Debit Card after 3:00 pm on Friday, July 15, If you use your Debit Card for automatic payments from your account (i.e. gym membership, association fees, etc.), you must provide your new card number to those businesses. The standard ATM/Debit card daily limit is $1000 for purchases with $500 of that available for ATM withdrawal. Limits are subject to available account balances. Your new ATM/Debit Card will work at any of the following surcharge free ATM Networks: SHAZAM, Cirrus, SHAZAM Privileged Status and MoneyPass. ATM Balances During the conversion weekend, there may be times your ATM receipts will not show an updated balance. This will be resolved as we move your accounts to the new system. ATM receipts will display your accurate balance again by the end of the day on July 18, Checks, Withdrawal and Deposit Slips Continue to use your existing supply. When you place your next check order, we will update the routing number. If you order your checks from another supplier be sure to update the routing number to: Your current account number/s will remain the same. Automatic ACH Transactions Update the routing number on your automatic payments and deposits, such as payroll or recurring debits. The Deerwood Bank routing number is Bank Statements Your final statement from American Bank of St. Paul will include transactions through 3:00 pm July 15, Transactions after that date will appear on your new Deerwood Bank Statement. If you were receiving paper statements from the former American Bank of St. Paul, you will receive paper statements, at no charge, from Deerwood Bank. If you were receiving electronic statements from the former American Bank of St. Paul, your Deerwood Bank statements will be delivered electronically through Deerwood Bank s Online Banking. You will continue to receive a monthly reminder. Online and Mobile Banking Disabled Access to your former American Bank of St. Paul Online and Mobile Banking will be disabled at 3:00 pm Friday, July 15, Bill Pay Disabled Access to your former American Bank of St. Paul Bill Pay service will be disabled at 3:00 pm Friday, July 15, SATURDAY, JULY 16, 2016 Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights, Saint Paul and Apple Valley offices will be closed Saturday, July 16, MONDAY, JULY 18, 2016 Online Banking Set Up Visit and click on the green $ symbol under Quick Links. Your new Deerwood Bank ATM/Debit Card and current supply of checks will work.
