As you may have already heard, Skowhegan Savings has reached an agreement to purchase the following 5 Franklin County branches from Camden National Bank: The Farmington Branch located at 134 Hannaford Drive; The Kingfield Branch located at 7 Depot Street; The Phillips Branch located at 124 Main Street; The Rangeley Branch located at 2484 Main Street; and The Stratton Branch located at 9 School Street. Skowhegan Savings, founded in 1869, is an independent mutual savings bank dedicated to strengthening the Maine families, businesses and communities it serves. Named as one of Maine s Best Places to Work in each year since 2009, Skowhegan Savings team of friendly, committed employees takes pride in delivering personalized, competitive banking services offering straight forward banking advice and fair deals for customers. An innovative and progressive approach to banking ensures our customers enjoy a banking experience that is quick, easy, and convenient. We have scheduled the transition of your accounts from Camden National Bank to Skowhegan Savings to start on October 4, Effective Monday, October 7, 2013 your accounts will officially be held with Skowhegan Savings. The transition will happen over the weekend, with business as usual on Monday morning at the same locations, with the same people, and the same great service that you expect. We are excited to welcome you and our new employees to Skowhegan Savings. We are striving to make this transition for you as seamless as possible, and although we may need to contact you, we will never ask for your account number, card number or PIN. In the following pages of this Customer Welcome Guide, you will find pertinent information about your accounts, services and our product offerings. If you don t find the answer to your questions, please feel free to contact us. We are available to answer any questions that you may have, using the form of communication that is best for you. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am 5:00 pm. Visit one of our ten branches in Augusta, Bingham, Dexter, Fairfield, Jackman, Madison, rridgewock, Pittsfield or Skowhegan (2 offices). After transition, all current branch telephone numbers will remain the same and all phone calls will be directed through our customer service support team in Skowhegan. This highly trained team of individuals can provide an array of support regarding accounts, transactions, online banking services, ATM/Debit cards and much more. The transition will begin on October 4, As a result, all affected branches will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th and the Farmington branch will also be closed Saturday, October 5th. All branches will open for normal business hours on Monday, October 7th as Skowhegan Savings. 2

3 ... Deposit Accounts The following important information may not apply to all account types. Account Numbers While most account numbers will stay the same, some account numbers may need to change to prevent duplication with other customers. Should this be the case, we will notify you as soon as possible. Your current Camden National Bank account will be transitioned to a Skowhegan Savings account at the close of business Friday night, October 4, At that time, even though your account number may remain the same, your Routing and Transit number (ABA number) will change to Skowhegan Savings routing number of Account Statements You will receive a final statement from Camden National Bank for all deposit accounts (except CD s) after the transition date of October 4, This statement will cover your account activity during the period from your previous statement date until the date of the account transfer. After the transition, statements with check images will be generated monthly for all checking and money market accounts. Savings account statements will be mailed monthly only for accounts that have electronic transaction activity. If no electronic transaction activity exists, quarterly statements will be sent. Statements are mailed throughout the month based on account type. Certificate of Deposit accounts do not receive statements. Account Fees and Balance Requirements In some instances account fees and minimum balance requirements will change. Skowhegan Savings is making every effort to make this transition a smooth one. For your convenience, we have included a Fee Schedule later in this document. We have also outlined the minimum deposit requirements within the account information section. Skowhegan Savings offers a wide variety of products and services and we encourage you to visit with a Manager or Personal Banker to ensure the best product for you. Checks and Deposit Slips You will be receiving a new supply of standard checks at no cost. You may begin to use your new Skowhegan Savings checks on October 7, Checks drawn on Camden National Bank accounts prior to October 4, 2013 will be honored for a short period of time after transition. After the transition date, it is crucial that you destroy unused Camden National Bank checks and begin using Skowhegan Savings checks. Any unused Camden National Bank checks can be returned to any Skowhegan Savings location for proper destruction at no cost. Direct Deposit If you currently have a direct deposit into one of your Camden National Bank accounts, after the transition you will need to contact the third party that initiates the deposit and provide your Skowhegan Savings account number, routing number ( ) and account type. We will attempt to notify direct depositors of your account changes, however we ask that you also contact them to ensure that there is no interruption to your deposits. If you have questions on how to change your direct deposit or would like a form to assist with changing your direct deposit, please contact customer service or visit our website at SkowheganSavings.com/welcome. 3

Automatic Withdrawals If you currently have a third party, such as a utility or credit card company, debit your account directly to collect payment, you will need to contact them and provide your Skowhegan Savings account number, routing number ( ) and account type for payments due after the transition date. We will attempt to notify these companies of your account changes, however we ask that you also contact them to ensure that there is no interruption to your payments. Automatic Internal Transfers Any automatic internal transfers established from your checking or savings account will continue to occur on their normal schedule if both accounts are transitioning to Skowhegan Savings. Loans The terms and conditions on all loans will remain the same unless you are otherwise notified by mail. While most account numbers will stay the same, some account numbers may need to change to prevent duplication with other customers. Should this be the case, we will notify you as soon as possible. Effective October 7, 2013, please mail all payments to Skowhegan Savings, PO Box 250, Skowhegan, ME for your regularly scheduled due date. (Reminder that mortgage loans will remain with Camden National Bank and are not transitioning to Skowhegan Savings.) All loan accounts will be issued either a payment coupon book or a monthly billing statement. If you currently pay your loan with an automatic funds transfer and the associated deposit account is also transitioning to Skowhegan Savings, no action is needed and this transfer will continue. If you currently pay your loan through an automatic transfer from an account held at another bank or through online bill pay, please change your banking information to match your Skowhegan Savings loan account number and routing number ( ). Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC) After transition, Skowhegan Savings will generate a HELOC monthly billing statement on the 7th of each month and payments will be due on the 28th of each month. We will be issuing you new checks for your HELOC account and ask that you destroy any remaining Camden National Bank checks that you may have. Skowhegan Savings minimum check or advance amount on a HELOC account is $500. ATMs and Debit Cards Your Camden National Bank Debit or ATM card will be replaced by a Skowhegan Savings ATM/Debit MasterCard. Your new card will arrive about 1-2 week(s) prior to October 4, You may begin using your new card at 2:00 pm EST on October 4, Your current Camden National Bank Debit or ATM card will expire at 3:00 pm EST on October 4, After that date, please destroy your Camden National Bank debit or ATM card. In addition, you will receive your PIN number approximately 3-5 business days after receipt of your new ATM/Debit MasterCard. You will have the option of personalizing your PIN at any Skowhegan Savings ATM. Skowhegan Savings is a member of Maine Cash Access, providing you access to surcharge free ATMs throughout the state. 4

If you have set up any recurring preauthorized payments from your Camden National Bank debit card, you will need to contact the merchant and give them your new Skowhegan Savings Debit MasterCard number and expiration date as soon as possible after the activation of your card. ATM Availability As we make this transition the weekend of October 4, 2013, we anticipate that ATM usage and your availability of funds through the ATM will be limited. On October 7, 2013, access will be restored and daily limits will apply. Night Deposit If you use the night deposit service at any affected branch location, your access will continue without interruption. You will be contacted at a later date to sign a Night Deposit Agreement with Skowhegan Savings. Certificates of Deposit Your Certificate of Deposit will transition with the same interest rate and maturity date. You will continue to earn the interest rate for the term on your Certificate of Deposit or most recent renewal notice. If you currently have a variable rate Certificate of Deposit, it will become a fixed rate at the time of transition. Individual Retirement Accounts Skowhegan Savings will accept the custodianship for your IRA plan from Camden National Bank and will continue to offer a variety of products for Traditional IRA, Roth IRA and SEP accounts. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Skowhegan Savings will accept custodianship and continue to service all existing Health Savings Accounts. To continue convenient access to this account, you will be issued checks and a Debit MasterCard. HSA s with a balance of $500 or greater will earn interest. A $5.00 transaction correction or tax form correction fee will apply as needed. We encourage you to enroll for free e-statements, however if you wish to continue receiving paper statements, effective January 1, 2014, a $5.00 monthly statement fee will apply. 5

Online Services Online Banking You will be able to access your Skowhegan Savings online banking services at SkowheganSavings.com beginning on October 7, If you currently use Camden National Bank s online banking, you will automatically be enrolled for Skowhegan Savings Online Banking. While most login IDs will remain the same, some may need to change to avoid duplication with other customers. Should this be the case, we will notify you as soon as possible. Your temporary password will be the last four digits of your social security number. You will be prompted to immediately change your password. Online Banking is free and offers Online Bill Payment, check images, funds transfers and low balance reminders. If you did not use online banking in the past, you may enroll anytime, online or by contacting Skowhegan Savings customer service. Online Bill Payment If you are already using online bill payment services with Camden National Bank, please save your payees and payment schedules as these will not transfer during conversion. You will only have access to your Camden National Bank Bill Pay service until 9pm on September 30, After account transition, you can self-enroll for Skowhegan Saving s Bill Pay after logging into Online Banking. After enrollment, you may immediately re-establish your payees and payment schedules. Electronic Statements If you receive electronic statements from Camden National Bank, these statements will not transition to Skowhegan Savings. Please download or print any electronic statements that you have with Camden National Bank. If you hold a Camden National Bank e-checking or student checking account, your e-statement enrollment will be automatically continued with Skowhegan Savings. If you have any other account type that is enrolled for estatements and would like it to continue, please contact us. You may also enroll your accounts after logging into Skowhegan Savings Online Banking. To begin receiving electronic statements with Skowhegan Savings, please access Online Banking and click on the Electronic Documents button and accept the disclosure. The estatement history will begin as of the date of enrollment with Skowhegan Savings. Business Online Banking If you are currently using Camden s Business Online Banking you will be able to continue to use the ACH, Wire Transfer, Remote Deposit and Bill Pay options using our Online Business Banking. You will receive new access ID s and passwords for each administrator and user and will be able to log into the online banking at SkowheganSavings.com. You will be contacted by Skowhegan Savings before transition to schedule Online Business Banking training. Mobile Banking If you are currently using Camden National Bank s Mobile Banking, you may easily enroll for Skowhegan Savings Mobile Web and/or Mobile Text Banking by logging into Online Banking and selecting the Mobile Banking tab. After enrollment, you can download our free iphone and Android Apps for convenient Mobile Web access. 10

10 ... Telephone Banking Skowhegan Savings offers free, real time account access through our automated Telephone Banking System. You may reach this service 24x7 by calling Beginning October 7, 2013, you may access your account information and bank by phone. You will use your account number and social security number to access the system. When you call Skowhegan Savings Telephone Banking system, you will be directed step-by-step on how to access your accounts. Safe Deposit Boxes There will be no interruption to your safe deposit box access and your billing date will not change. Effective October 7, 2013, all safe deposit boxes will be billed at Skowhegan Savings current annual rates. If you currently have a passbook savings, it will become an Integrity Savings account upon transition. Integrity Savings accounts receive convenient quarterly statements and are eligible for ATM card access. Electronic transactions will also generate a monthly account statement for the month in which they occur. Bounce/Overdraft Protection Skowhegan Savings does not offer an automatic overdraft protection program, often referred to as bounce protection. If you currently have an overdraft line of credit, Skowhegan Savings will continue this service without interruption. If you are interested in checking overdraft protection, an automatic transfer from a savings account can be established, or you can apply for an overdraft line of credit. Bank Wires If you receive single or recurring bank wires, please advise the sender that your bank account information is changing effective October 4, 2013 at 7:00 pm and provide them with your Skowhegan Savings account number, account type and routing number ( ). 11

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We maintain additional physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect customer information. Internal access to customer information is restricted to employees that require access to provide service to our customers. We collect your personal information, for example, when you open an account or apply for a loan pay your bills or pay us by check make deposits or withdrawals from your account We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies. 13 ... Funds Availability Policy This policy statement applies to all deposit accounts. Our policy is to make funds from your cash and check deposits available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. Once they are available, you can withdraw the funds in cash and we will use the funds to pay checks that you have written. Electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit. For determining the availability of your deposits, every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before 4:00 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after 4:00 PM or on a day that we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day that we are open. Longer Delays May Apply In some cases, we will not make all of the funds that you deposit by check available to you on the first business day after the day of your deposit. Depending on the type of check that you deposit, funds may not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit. The first $200 of your deposits, however, may be available next day. If we are not going to make all of the funds from your deposit available on the first business day, we will notify you at the time you make your deposit. We will also tell you when the funds will be available. If your deposit is not made directly to one of our employees, or if we decide to take this action after you have left the premises, we will mail you the notice by the day after we receive your deposit. If you will need the funds from a deposit right away, you should ask us when the funds will be available. In addition, funds you deposit by check may be delayed for a longer period under the following circumstances: We believe a check you deposit may not be paid. You deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 on any one day. You redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid. You have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last six months. There is an emergency, such as failure of computer or communications equipment. You deposit to a new account. An account is a new account if any customer on the account has not, within 30 days of when the account is established, had a transaction account with the Bank. An account retains its new account status for 30 days after it is established. We will notify you if we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any of these reasons, and we will tell you when the funds will be available. They will generally be available no later than the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. Deposits at Automated Teller Machines If you make a deposit before 3 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after 3 PM or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. 14
