Tuo Con il patrocinio di Società Italiana di Pediatria Società Italiana di Neonatologia October 1-3, 2013 Villa Quartara, Badia della Castagna, Genoa, Italy AIMS The course will cover the main principles and applications of extracorporeal life support in newborns and children. Some of the most innovative aspects of ECMO treatment will be treated as well (congenital diaphragmatic hernia, septic shock, bridge to lung transplant, trauma), including ECMO transport. Participants will acquire the theoretical principles of extracorporeal life support and will consolidate their knowledge through practical hands on sessions in small groups. The course will include frontal lessons and practical work on the ECMO pumps and circuits. Case scenarios will be administered to the participants and discussed. The course is directed to: neonatal and pediatric intensivists, nurses and ECMO specialists.

Applications will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. Registration fees The full course registrations fee of 450,00 Euros, covers: access to the morning and afternoon practical sessions, didactic material, 6 coffee breaks, 3 lunches and attendance certificate.
