I got credit from my TAFE studies towards my university degree. I chose the course because I have a passion for attractions and love exploring new destinations. I enjoyed the diversity of the programs with hands on training at TAFE combined with strong academic skills learned at university. Some of the subjects were very involving especially running an airline, where weekly profit results were calculated from actions the group decided in the previous class. I currently work for Qantas Holidays they recognised the benefit of my tourism/business background during my application. I believe my qualification was a key advantage I held over other candidates applying for the position.
