Other Recycling and Garbage Options There is a Mecklenburg County recycling center on Highway 21, south of Huntersville, that will accept other trash and recyclables, such as: Cardboard Paper trash Construction materials Mattresses Paint cans Electronics Pesticides The center is open Monday through Saturday from 7am - 4pm. You must separate your trash and place it in large metal containers at the recycling center. Note: Recycled mulch is also available for pick up at the site for a very reasonable cost. If you choose to vote at your new location, you will have to use a paper provisional ballot; you will not be able to vote on the voting machine. If you moved more than 30 days ago but didn t get a new voter registration card, and don t know where to vote you must change your address with the Board of Elections.
