S R A W B E R R Y E X P O R R E P O R he Strawberry Export Report is published annually and reflects trends for total fresh and frozen exports and major export countries. Data is compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign rade Statistics division. Hong Kong data is compiled by Hong Kong Government rade Statistics. Japan data is provided by rade Statistics of Japan, Japanese Ministry of Finance. In 2014, California exported 251.8 million pounds of fresh strawberries and 49.7 million pounds of frozen strawberries, with a combined value of $424 million. Frozen Exports 2014 = 50 million lbs. 2013 = 62 million lbs. 2012 = 43 million lbs. In 2014, fresh exports to Canada decreased by 14.7 percent compared to 2013. Although a decrease from the previous year, this was the second highest annual frozen volume exported to Mexico, through 11 years of tracking export volumes.
